Good Morning,

As yesterday, it's a cold one out there with a biting wind. Not sure what was with Otto. He seemed to enjoy sitting in the driveway with this ears flapping in the wind. I did make him come in though as he was sitting on the step shivering.

All the XX's in the family are having a tough morning so far. Oldest DD left her cold cuts that I bought her yesterday in the bag that she left here with. She had her alarm set for PM instead of AM so she was anticipating being late for work, BF is yet again suffering from "stupid boy" syndrome. Other DD and BF did their first loads of laundry in the new washer and dryer and after putting the first load in the dryer a lot of clunking and gear grinding yes the dryer stopped drying. A call to Sears indicated yes we can have someone there on the 16th. The eagerly anticipated refrigerator deliver of today was met with a phone call at 6:30 AM that yes they're delivering the refrigerator but oops they ordered the wrong one and the doors can't be switched so yes you'll have a refrigerator but no you won't be able to open the door correctly but sometime in the near future we can deliver the right one. Obviously DD wants a new dryer not a new one that already has to be fixed and what's the sense of delivering a wrong refrigerator. You certainly can't stock up something that's supposed to be leaving. This is after waiting over a week for a delivery. I think there's going to be a lot of noise in the appliance section this evening. As far as myself, well I was let getting up, I have my own "stupid boy" syndrome going on and it's Monday. I think a mental health day is going on my calendar for this week.

DD and I made the house look very festive yesterday. We worked hard and we were both exhausted when it was all said and done. At some point next weekend we'll get a tree and put it up.

Otto and I will venture out after dinner this evening. Note to self-make sure my sweat pants are tied tight :)! Another 4 days have passed without any exercise-so mentally I'm not playing with a full deck, my pants are way past being uncomfortable and I have a big pimple on my forehead. Why,at 55 am I still getting them?

On that note, I'm running late, I still have things to do before heading to work and hoping it's not going to be one of those days. Hope yours is a good one!

Hi, all...this talk about Christmas is starting to put me in panic mode.

Be like a postage stamp.  Stick to it until you get there.
