Good Evening! Hooray...the tree is decorated and the fire is going and the day is winding down.

Be like a postage stamp.  Stick to it until you get there.

Glad to be home tonight too. Ran to a few stores today alone while Bill did some errands and picked up so gifts on the list in the opposite direction. He had to deliver a bob cat on the back of a trailer this afternoon and he had the truck and trailer go into a spin on the highway. He ended up with a jack knived truck and trailer. The only damage was to Bill's exhaust pipes on his truck. Scared the you know what out of him. Between the two of us we figured it was best to stay put tonight, lol. We met back here around 5:00 where I laid my head down for a 20 minute cat nap. We decided to order Chineese food, which they delivered. We finished up eatting and took our hot Chineese tea into the den and settled onto the couch and we watched Family Man with Nicholas Cage with our fire place going and out tree let up. I am going to clean up the dirty dinner dishes and wrap a few gifts. My bedroom is covered in gifts, lol. I need a path to my dresser. I placed my grocery order with Peapod and that will be delivered Monday night. I need to run to Target tomorrow for some stocking stuffers and then I am done. I would like to bake some simple sugar cookies tomorrow afternoon and then relax. It is supposed to be about 17 degrees for us tomorrow and I for one am not looking forward to that. Give me palm trees and sunshine anyday! Stay warm ladies.......rest well. Karen safe trip tomorow, hope your DD feels better. I would suggest you get some Airborne into her tonight, you should be able to get 2 doses into her before 11:00 it might help. I know I took it last time I started with the symptoms and it nipped it right away. Two days of the stuff did the trick. Good luck. What did you do for gifts for the kids? Did you have stuff sent to PA or will you wait until you get home?

It was another baking day here. I think I'm officially baked out although my chocolate crinkles didn't come out right so I make another batch of them tomorrow and some chocolate covered pretzels. DD made her rainbow cookies and some of her chocolates. By the time we finished cleaning up the kitchen DH was walking in from work. There was no dinner as I didn't feel like cooking and being around the baking all day wasn't particulary hungry. DD had an engagement party to go to so DH fended for himself.

I still have no gifts wrapped. I had planned on going up to DD's room but realized I had to put together a menu and grocery list for Christmas Eve since DH's sisters are coming for dinner. I watched Elf while I was doing that. Cute movie.

Deb, glad Bill was ok. That must have been very scary. Karen, hope your DD is feeling better tomorrow and safe travels.

I am exhausted and heading to bed so I think I will wish you all a good night's rest.
