I have gained 3 pounds so far. The roasted pork was so good lol. Really, something must be wrong because I have started to exercise more, I should not be gaining weight. I eat normally.

Good Morning,

After several days of going here and there and a houseful of kids it's almost eerily quiet here this morning. DD just left to head back to MA so it's just me and Mr.Otto this morning.

It was a very nice Christmas. We had DH's sisters here Christmas Eve. I worked until 1 and DD and I finished up what needed to be done to prepare for our meal and enjoyed our company. Christmas morning was a leisurely morning of exchanging gifts and breakfast. We headed over to DH's niece's house around 3 and enjoyed our day there as well. We enjoyed watching the little ones open up their gifts especially the their middle son who is thoroughly engrossed with Star Wars this year. DS bought him a Star Wars space ship that he absolutely loved and younger DD bought him a Star Wars tent that once it was opened and popped up he proceeded to put all his Star Wars tent in there with him. Apparently he brought the tent up to his room and set it up right next to his bed.

Yesterday younger DD did some morning shopping. DD went to get her hair cut and then we headed over to older DD's apartment. DD had never seen it and she had a gift to give DD's BF. She's been doing mugs for them each year with the year's worst photo of each of them put on them. DD usually has the worst shot but her BF defintely won the prize this year.

I did get a Wii and a Wii Fit this year from older DD and her boyfriend and DS. I have to say I'm really enjoying it. Lots of fun. DH also bought me Jillian Michaels as another program for the Wii. I haven't set that one up. I've bowled, boxed, downhilled skied, hula hooped, played tennis, done some yoga, tested my balance and posture which were actually pretty good.

I'm feeling a bit on the lazy side this morning. I guess all the activity over the past few days has put me in that frame of mind. Of course the human buzz saw was not helping with getting me to sleep. At one point I got up and was going to try sleeping somewhere else. He asked me if everything was all right and told him how bad his snoring was and he just denied it. Oh for a tape recorder! I think I'll play with my new toy and I have to get upstairs and put the upstairs bedroom in some sort of order. DD and I were trying to tackle the mess and clutter up there but I really need for DD to come over and really do a serious purging. She's a bit overwhelmed with things not getting done for the wedding so I'm not sure I can put her in a frame of mind for doing that. I have a feeling it's all going to get boxed up and it will have to be dealt with at a future date. I really need to get the room in some sort of order so I can get up there and paint before the wedding. And actually I'm a little anxious to take that room over. It will still function as a bedroom but I fully intend to use it as a TV room and convert the downstairs bedroom into an office.

Margie-I was so glad to see a post from you. I'm so sorry that you've been sick. I hope that the New Year will be bringing good things your way.

Li-Deb-sorry to hear about Billy's accident. Hope he's feeling OK. The aches and pains of accident usually catch up with you a few days later.

Patty-hope the scratchy throat and cold will soon be gone. Enjoy your chicken free days.

Donna-hope you're feeling better.

Deb/MN-congratulations to Trevor!

Waving hi to all of you and wishing you a splendid Saturday!
