We finished eating, dishes are done and I'm sitting here thinking it's time to read for a while before crawling into bed tonight.

The work day was a fairly busy one but like yesterday the morning seemed to drag and the afternoon flew by. Only a 1/2 day go for the rest of the working week. I could learn to live with this schedule...with my regular paycheck however :)! Should I put that in the suggestion box?

Leftovers for dinner. Not a big leftover person but I did have some leftover eggplant parmesan that I don't mind leftover with a salad.

Otto and I headed out for a walk after dinner. The sky was really nice tonight. The moon was a crescent but you could see the outline of the full moon behind it. That dog of mind definitely has a mind of his own. We get down around the park and he just stops, looks right then left and turns around and decides on a different route. Never can take him on my own route.

Came back home after that and played with my WiiFit. I have to say I am really enjoying it and the kids are glad I'm enjoying it since they chipped in and gave it to me for Christmas. And Sven keeps telling me what wonderful posture I have-what a guy!

I'm going to head upstairs and finish cleaning up the kitchen and then read for a few minutes. My library book has gone unread for awhile and I know I'll never finish it before it's due back next week but I'm going to try. Unfortunately I don't get too far with reading at this time of night.

Hope you've all enjoyed a good day. Pleasant dreams everyone!

Susan

Man my days always feel rush, rush, rush, I really do not like that feeling. Work was busy, boss man back in giving us a hard time. Thank goodness I had him off to a double closing from 11 till 2. I was supposed to leave at 3:00 but since I am not going in tomorrow I felt it best to finish up loose ends on my desk. Stuck around until 3:45. Boss doesn't realize I won't be there tomorrow, I wonder how that will go. Other co-worked said she would come in since she had off the Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon of Thanksgiving and again on Christmas. Originally we were planning on doing a New Years Eve party so I wanted the Wednesday off but changed our minds after, decided to keep the day anyhow. Anyway after I left the office it was rush home to change and then rush to the barn before the guys came to feed the horse. We got there just as they did so we were able to hold Amaretto's food until after she was done. We never saw the guys for Christmas and we bought them gift cards to Dunkin Donuts so Katie gave them the gift cards. We left there at 6:00 and ran to the grocery store for some Texas toast and chicken cutlets then home. Rob's girl friend Stacey was making us baked spaghetti for dinner and it goes with chicken cutlets so I needed to pick them up. Stacey met us at 6:30 and while she prepared the spaghetti dish I did the cutlets. It was cool to share the kitchen with another lady, lol. Katie kept asking her if she was nervous cooking for us, but she wasn't. I think that is cool that she feels comfortable at our place. Stacey and Rob left after we cleaned up and headed to the movies to see Twilight. Stacey just finished reading the first book and she was bugging Rob to see it yesterday but it was sold out. So they went tonight and they left Stacey's dog, Einstein for Katie to watch. Katie loves him and vice a versa, he is a Yorkie and cute as a button. I started a book in the car while Katie was riding and I think I will head upstairs and read a little before hitting the sack. I am hoping since I am off tomorrow to walk or something healthy in the fitness department, lol. Tomorrow night we will be going out to dinner so eating healthy is on hold I am afraid and on Saturday we were invited to our friends for a homemade lasagna so it looks like Mondays start of the ivillage challenge will be my true start date. In the meantime I am hoping to just becareful. Hope you all have a wonderful night.
