I love the quote this morning. Very good words to start out the New Year.
It's cold here this morning. We had a little bit of snow yesterday and lots of wind. The wind is still blowing making it feel much colder.
We are headed north this morning to DD's. Looking forward to seeing the new house and we'll also be delivering their snow blower to them. She was planning just to have us and her BF's parents and brother for New Year's dinner but it seems to have grown to include both sets of grandparents and an aunt and uncle but as of last night the aunt and uncle couldn't make it. Since they really don't have a table yet to accomodate everyone they decided to an appetizer type of meal. We're heading out around 8 and will be back sometime tomorrow night since DH has to work on Saturday.
We had a very quiet New Year's Eve with me in my comfy sweat pants watching "Hancock", DH cleaning his fishtank and then sitting and watching the movie with me. No attempt was even by made by either of us to see the New Year in. We really are getting old!
Hope you all have a wonderful New Year's Day! Here's to a fit and healthy 2009!
Oh Deb...that is so scary about the glass in the pie! I am glad you and Eric are ok. What a way to end the year. But, then again it was better than what I did 3 years ago.
Enjoy your class and your new zumba clothes. Grace
HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL! I know I am a little late, but I finally got here. I didn't make it to ring in the New Year, but I did watch Fox News Channel at 5 a.m. and saw the ball drop on the rerun.
Only one more full day here in NC and we leave here Saturday morning. Check out is by 10 am and we have to clear everything out before that.
Can't believe you ran in 14 degree weather, Patty. I went to Mass this morning and it was windy and 29 degrees and that was enough for me. Glad the snow wasn't too bad in NY, Susan. Winter sure did arrive with a vengeance.
Got an email from WW and there is a new plan. I may check it out Tuesday morning before going to the gym. I will pay the $13 and get the info. If it looks good, I may go back for a few weeks.
Well...off I go to be with the family. I picked up Sushi for dinner tonight.
Good Morning and Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!
Patty, I love the photo and the quote.
Today, I WILL get to the gutters - it isn't quite as windy as yesterday, so it may be a little easier.
