Good Afternoon,

Hard to believe it's Sunday afternoon already. The past few days sure have flown by.

I had a nice visit at my sister's house yesterday. My nephew and his wife and my niece, her husband and their two children brought my sister down from CT. She has recovered quite well physically from her stroke although she hasn't regained her speech. But she is fully aware of everyone and the conversations going around her. From the north shore of LI I traveled to the south shore of LI to DH's nieces house where we celebrated her son's 5th birthday. The boys were gathered around the TV watching the Indianpolis-Chargers games which of course went into overtime. We did leave before overtime started but still didn't get home until right before midnight. I couldn't go to sleep right away and then was awakened by Otto about 6:30AM and that was that for me. I've been coping with a headache that just doesn't seem to want to go away since yesterday and with all the travels and running I'm completely out of steam as well as patience for the XY who is trying my patience just a bit today.

DD and her BF left about 1:00 to head back to MA. I have a sauce simmering with meatballs and a braciole (sp?) and plan on making a ziti. Hope it tastes as good as it smells at the moment! I have custody of the other DD and her BF for dinner.

Otto hasn't been out for a walk for days now so I'm trying to gear my energy up to go out with him. It would probably be the best thing in the world to get some fresh air so I think I'll finish this and head on out.

I was thinking of tackling the tree today since it is so dry but just don't have the patience for it today and I really want to take my time and put everything away nice and neat and really do some sorting through things.

Karen-great job on that bike yesterday! Deb/MN-get to the gym today? Margo hope you're feeling better soon. Donna-feeling better today?

Thanks for all the positive comments about the dress. It was one of those cases where I tried the dress on and said this is the one.

Well better get moving so I can get Otto out and get my ziti put together and in the oven.

Hope you're all enjoying a soothing Sunday!
