Good Morning,

Facing the fact that the 3 day work weeks are over and 5 days are back in the picture. December was full of 3 and 4 day work weeks and it was sooooo nice! But unfortunately back to reality.

Hoping to start out a new month and a new year with healthy eating and a consistency with exercise. 4 days I think would be a reasonable plan in my head.

I was so tired last night and I sat down in the chair about 8:15 and the next thing I knew it was 10:15. I went to bed and woke up at 6AM. The extra hours sure felt good.

Getting myself back into the routine of morning chores around here and I need to head into work a few minutes early. I have a document that needs to get into court and I need it all ready to go so when the client comes in at 9 to sign off all I have to do is slip in her signature page then off it goes. So on that note I need to get my act together and get myself ready to face the work day ahead.

Hope everyone has a great start to the week, month and year ahead!

Good morning... I'm enjoying more than usual my Monday of quietness... I'm ready for a more normal schedule.

Good post this morning Patty, thanks! I took full advantage of being my own boss this weekend, lol and didn't do much of anything. Felt weird but good, I needed the rest. My Christmas stuff is still around and most likely will remain that way until this Friday. If I play my cards right and start right away I should have 98% of my stuff reorganized and packed up before Bill heads home from work. This weekend we discussed the kitchen finishing and decided to gut the laundry room area this Friday night or Saturday morning. I was hoping we would instead of just hanging doors on the closet and leaving the mess behind the doors. But last time I mentioned it we had a huge fight and I do not want to go there again. But he stood in front of me yesterday and said the more "he" thinks about it the more "he" realizes we should gut that area first and repanel and hang new cabinets before doing the doors and molding. So glad "he" finally came to his senses, lol. So it will be a busy week for us I am sure. I just might start some christmas declutter tonight. I managed to exercise twice this week. Only for 15 minutes but better then nothing.

I am here at the office and I have calmed down but before lunch I was mad. The coworker (single mom) came in today but told me as soon as I walked in that she was sick the entire weekend and was going to the doctor at 11:30 ARGH! She called in on Wednesday and I worked despite having planned that day off. After she left I told my boss I was angry with the situation and his responce was well she is sick. It never seems to fly for me or the other lady, which really bothers me. Especially since she has had several days out and comes in later and leaves early. I told him that today and he did not say anymore. Thank goodness it is not crazy and I will do what I can and no more.

We all planned to start fresh today with healthy eatting so it will be interesting to hear what my husband ate for lunch. I had left over chicken with brown rice and carrots. Still
