Good Morning,

It is indeed Frozen Friday. Wind chill here has us in the negative numbers. I know it's still not as cold as many north of us and you girls in the Midwest.

I still sitting in amazement at the plane that went down in the Hudson River yesterday and the pilot that successfully landed it in the water upright and in one piece. 155 very lucky people. Thinking about the area around there and the devastation that could have happened if he hadn't been able to reach the river and the amazing job that he did. Also the ferry boat captains and tug boat operators, Coast Guard and NYFD who were immediately on the scene to help bring people to saftey.

Work is on the agenda. It was a rough day in the eating department yesterday. I don't know what got in to me but I was just hungry all day and just wasn't satisfied with anything that I ate. I redeemed some of my bad choices with a workout last night with Sven. He helped keep the fitness wagon upright before it fell over on me :)!

I'm very glad that it's Friday. My boss has finished his trial and will be back in the office today along with our associate who was sitting 2nd chair with him. I'm sure they'll both be working to get caught up from the last few days.

Margo-good luck with everything going on with your job. Hope that crud has finally found the door marked Exit! Lori-good luck with the house! Nancy-I think I'm packing my bags and coming to join you in AZ! Deb/MN-great job you're doing with the gym.

Hope you ladies that are all suffering from the brutual temperatures are safe and warm. TGIF everyone!

Susan

I meant to get here this morning but I slept until 8:10. I never heard Bill and Katie leave this morning. I had to shower quick and then head to my hair cut/color appointment. That took over 2 hours then I headed over to Kohls to buy myself a few pairs of sweat pants. I found 2 pairs for relaxing in when I get home from work. Came home, warmed some left over pasta and well then got cleaning. I managed to get the washer/dryer going, the dishwasher too. I cleaned 1 bathrooms and now I am dusting and cleaning off all the family pictures which were stuffed into a box before the holidays. Now I am Pledging the shelves and windows and putting the pics back up. Next will be to head upstairs and make my bed, well fix the covers anyhow. It feels good to be in slow gear for a change and I think I need this. My house will not be perfect when my husband gets home. My back is fine, thanks everyone for asking. Just a little black & blue in one spot, I was very lucky. It is freezing here but not as chilly as some of you ladies. Tomorrow it is supposed to be chilly again and Katie and I are heading into the city for the play Wicked. We are looking forward to it (I have had the CD going this afternoon listening to the songs) and we will take the train into NYC and cab it to the theater. It will be cold but we will bundle up good. Well best to get back to work before I loose what little drive I have, lol. As the sun starts to go down here I can feel the temp in the house start to drop and time to throw the thermastat up a little. The cost of heat just kills me and I try to wear layers around here. My family thinks we are nuts because we keep it chilly inside. How about you ladies, what do you keep your thermostat set on?

Hi Deb,

When our kids were little we had it warmer, but now we keep the thermostat at 65 during the day and put sweaters on.
