Good Morning,

You put such a great visual in my head for a perfect type of day! I'll be bringing the proper doses of chocolate!

The real world for me will be a trip to Costco and then a much needed, overdue cut and color for the wild mop atop my head. A trip to the gas station so I can continue going here there and everywhere and a trip to the pharmacy for my prescriptions. Not sure what the plan is for the afternoon I'm hoping that maybe I can clean out the kitchen cabinet housing mugs and glasses. As with most things in this house-there are too many! There's always the traditional running of the vaccum and the ever mounting pile of laundry. Just so exciting. It would be nice to have a day to do nothing and then not have to wonder when you're going to have time to do all the things that you've now put off to another day! The one thing that has to happen is getting Otto out for a walk. He's peeded twice in the basement and he does have a defiant streak in him. DS said the same thing. Of course no one else has volunteered to take him out.

I'm feeling a bit of a funk coming on. I can always tell when food just isn't appealing and I end up nibbling on this and that. Not sure a workout is going to happen today either although maybe I should take Sven out of the box. It just seems like I have a couple of good weeks and take 2 steps forward and then the funk hits and I take 4 steps backwards. I don't know what triggers these spells although this week the work week has been exhausting and frustrating. Whatever the reason I'm holding on by a thread trying to get myself back into the groove.

Patty-Sorry to hear about your Dad and FIL. Thoughts and prayers go out for both of them. It's nice that Ryan has been coming by and offering to help you out.

Even on the weekends I'm finding myself looking at the clock and figuring I better get a move on so that's what I need to do. Hope you all have a great day and I'll see you at the beach :)!

Hi Patty,

While you are running, I think I'll just do a walk, but I'll be sure to bring port and chocolate chip cookies (great combination).

Hello

Princess, Loved the picture.. I would love to see the beach up by Maine this time of year.. I know it seems weird .. most want to go to Florida or someplace warmer but I just think it would be a whole different experience and it's a place I would love to go... Enjoy your day... I hope that your FIL and Dad are feeling better today...

Margo,

Deb-there's actually no place to name your trainer-I just thought it would be fun if I named him! Haven't come up with a name for the girl trainer yet. I love the hula hooping. I was never very good at it when I owned a real hula hoop. I seem to be much better at the not so real one!

Glad to hear that you're finally feeling better. That was some bout with the crud. Enjoy the jewelry party if you don't buy a thing. Sometimes it's just nice to window shop!

Well I meant to get here this morning but the morning kind of got away from me. Bill and I started demoing the closet and now we are working fixing it, lol. Bill just finished building the box around the pipes to give the dryer more room. I asked about doing it months ago and got shushed.........then it was his idea. I know, I know! We are not tearing down/off the wood paneling for fear of what we might find behind it. Rather we have removed the old cabinet and shelves and we will prime and paint the wood already there. Bill has put a new sub-floor down and is just finishing off the front of the box to hide the pipes. I believe our game plan it to hit Home Depot early tomorrow morning to the wood for the selves. Looking good ladies and when I suggested Bill go to HD alone he advise me we were going to like glue today....lol. So we are, although he is outside cutting another piece now and its too chilly out there for me. My 11 year old neice is sleeping over tonight. I am sure Katie and her can find something on TV to keep busy and dinner will either be from the local pizza joint or a trip to the diner.

Patty, sorry to hear about how lousy both your dad and FIL are feeling. They are both in my thoughts and prayers. I love to picture you described and it fits me perfectly. I could and would handle the beach in all sorts of weather. I would be inside on cold days like today just enjoying the waves and birds while warming by a fire place. On the warmer days the deck and friends would be wonderful. Either way that is why a beach house is on my wish list if I ever got rich.

Have a good afternoon ladies and I will check back later!
