Good morning everyone. I think my pillow would say " you'll have to take care of it yourself today" Ever have a day where you feel like you need to push everyone
Not sure what my pillow would say...I have several versions running around in my head...could be how about you take over for the day while I sit and eat my bonbons.
Yesterday was a complete washout. I did get to Costco but realized when I got home that I had forgotten several things. I did enjoy the hair care trip. I always feel better when that's been taken care of. The rest of the day...well didn't really get umption in my gumption to get much of anything done. I did get some vaccuming done but that pretty much took the toll on any energy I had. Otto did get out for his walk. I didn't realize how cold it had gotten and the wind was quite strong. I wasn't dressed warmly enough and I came home with a chill in my bones that I couldn't quite get rid of all evening. I ended up making some chicken kabobs for dinner. It was the only thing that was simple enough and appealed to me enough to cook. Yet I managed to leave an ingredient out of the marinade and the rice pilaf that I thought took 10-12 minutes actually took 20-25 minutes. That's been the story of my life the past few weeks...so back to my pillow...how about you do it?
Grocery shopping on the agenda for the morning and a nail appointment. Checkbook updating and bill paying this afternoon. The laundry was grown from a mountain to mountains as DS was struggling to yet push more laundry into the chute last night. It's already begun to whirl and twirl and I guess that will be on the main agenda for the day. Actually the phone just rang and my friend's son is getting married in July and I had offered to go with her to look for a dress so she had called to take me up on my offer so that's where I'll be headed this afternoon.
Patty-I'm so sorry to hear about your FIl. I don't know what goes through doctor's minds when they're dealing with an older patient. Obviously not much. I'm sure whatever you said to your FIL made him feel better. You really have had a lot on your plate the past few weeks and months to make you feel like you're on empty. Let's put up our feet, grab the cabana boys and enjoy those bonbons.
I'm off once again to get ready and make the mad dash out the door. Enjoy your day.

"Make Choices that bring you joy" cl-Patty
Good morning. It is a chilly morning here in Arizona City and not warming up quite as much as it did last week.
