Yay, a check in ! I've missed these. Nancy, I think it is so nice that your DD and SIL are with you all for awhile. That must be so much fun.

I hit my treadmill for a really good run today and it was so hard. I can feel what not working out

I'll join you in a check in. It was a very long day at work. Not for lack of things to do more that I really didn't feel like working or be where I was.

Not sure whether the insurance snafu is cleared up or not. The doctor's office didn't leave me with a very warm fuzzy feeling about exactly what caused the mix up and seemed rather confused about the whole issue. The lab said they got the insurance information from the doctor but the doctor's office couldn't explain where the information came from other than it wasn't her fault. Hopefully all is right with the insurance world and that will be the end of that and somebody other than me will be responsible for the bill.

Did you ever have one of those nights where you cook dinner and then sit down to eat it and the meal is as just unappealing as it is dissatisfying. I ate what I could but when DH sat with a piece of cake after dinner what was supposed to be a tiny sliver for me ended up being the whole piece. Over all eating was pretty good today.

After the cake adventure Otto and I did head out for our nightly walk. It was a nice night and the moon was absolutely beautiful this evening. After getting back and before I changed my mind I headed down to the basement to the treadmill. I did manage 25 minutes although it seemed much longer but at least I didn't jump off. I did do some leg lifts and crunches and ended up the workout with some stretches.

I'm all showered up and the kitchen is cleaned up and closed for the evening and I'm headed to my favorite chair. I have the crossword puzzle and some reading material and maybe some dial flipping before I head off to bed.

Hope you've all had a good day!

Funny Nancy ... I was thinking about how slow the board has been lately and wondering what we (I) could do to get things livened up a bit.

I will do a check in as long as you are not expecting something exciting, lol. I am not sure if I got my situation fixed either, argh!I organized myself around here this morning and headed to the bank. They were able to get me registered for online banking and we pulled up a copy of the mystery check. Seems I wrote the # amount differently then the actual writen part and they go by the writen part but............we do know it was cased by the gas company. I take the copy of the check with me and drive to the office.......long wait, like 40 minutes and lots of creepy people. Lady behind the counter admits it is their stamp but can not tell me where my money went. They have to investigate but in the meantime they want me to pay them again. Say what? I handed her another $600.00 towards my bill and you want me to repay the $400.00 you know you got but can not find. I don't think so...instead she agreed to allow me to make payment arrangements for the $400, nice huh? They hope to figure out where my money is within two weeks. In the meantime work was held down nicely by my coworker (I) that did come in early and cover for me. I stayed at the office through lunch since I did not arrive until 10:45. After work I ran to the market and bought some chicken cutlets. Stopped to see Bill and Billy who were both still working (5:45 now) and asked Billy if he wanted to join us for dinner, which he did. Bill got in a few minutes after me and while I was working on breading and cooking the cutlets he taped off the new wood and gave it two coats of primer. Tomorrow he will give it one final coat and then I can start to reuse my shelves. Tomorrow he plans on going back to Home Depot and ordering the doors for the closet since we did not have any luck in the store with getting help over the weekend. After we got done eatting, Stacey went to help Katie with her math homework, Rob took some Excederine and went upstairs to lay down, Billy went home and Bill went to his friend Johns to help with their Jr. Dragster. I cleaned up the rest of the kitchen, got the dishwasher going and decided to see what everyone else was up to tonight. I think I might have to run Stacey home since it seems Rob is now upstairs and under his covers and Stacey is sitting on his floor watching TV with him. I hope you all have or had a nice night. Catch you ladies in the morning.

Debbie
