Good Morning,

Blue skies, sunshine and yes I'm off today! Quite honestly, I could get used to 4 day work weeks-at the same pay, of course :)! It's nice sitting here still in my jammies! Spring must be out there since I saw my first robin yesterday afternoon while Otto and I were out for our afternoon stroll.

I think I'm going to head out this morning. I want to go to Trader Joes and stop in at Bed Bath & Beyond. DS asked me to look for a blender to do his shakes. I threw my blender out years ago and never replaced it. He offered to pay so I have no problem spending his money! There's also an Ann Taylor Loft in that shopping center and they always have great sales racks. I could go in and say look but don't buy but that usually doesn't work when I don't have any money to spend-that's when I always find something so I may just walk on by and just focus on upcoming spring and summer for some much needed updating to that wardrobe. I also want to stop at Blinds to Go. I have a big front window with no window covering. I've always liked it that way since we put in the window. But now I think with trying to keep heating and cooling bills down that it might be a wise investment to get some kind of window covering. I have an idea in my head of what I wantalthough because of the size and shape of the window this might be a very costly thought and I'm not sure how they would be attached. I know I could go with verticals but I've had them and don't really want to do them again. I think I may go in and see if it's even a thought I can entertain $ wise. I think it might end up saving us money in the long run. We'll see, I may go running in sticker shock!

I used the Wii Fitness Coach game yesterday. She may be just an animated figure but when she says to move you have the tendency to move. It is nice rather than the Wii Fit which like Debbie says you have to keep going back to the menu. This sets up a whole workout for you. The cardio one that is set up also incorporate some weight and lower body exercises. At the end it asks you whether it was too easy, just right or too hard and it will ajust it for you the next time you use it. I had worked up a sweat by the end of the 45 minutes. I'll get in some type of workout today just not sure at this point what it will be. Otto and I will also head out for a walk. It's so nice to be able to get out in during the day and the sunshine.

I haven't heard from DD so I'm assuming no news is good news. She's off from work for winter break so hopefully this will be a good week for her to relax and unwind.

Heading to the laundry room and folding some laundry and then out the door for awhile. Hope you all have a great day and a good start to the week ahead.

Patty,

Thoughts and prayers for your FIL and your Dad. I do hope the doctor is a little more sensitive and tactful this time around when speaking with your FIL.

Make sure you bundle up today Nancy! But, then again, shivering makes you burn calories trying to get you warm...hmmmmmmmmm.

Keep on keeping on!

Good morning all...DDinL just got back from the specialist and after taking that test that tests for nerve damage, she was told that there is no permanent nerve damage and what is wrong could still be virul and could last at least another two weeks. She said she will never have that test done again which is what everyone says, including DH. It is very umcomfortable to put it mildly.

Keep on keeping on!

Gosh, you have a lot going on there, Patty! It was good to hear that you are having some good results with this flock after that rocky start. Good luck with the service guy today. Great job with the weight workouts. I am going to go to Target and buy a set of weights to use here.

Keep on keeping on!
