It was so nice to have a day off and I took the day to really do nothing but what I felt like doing. I went and priced the blinds. They're pleated blinds with an insulating factor inside the pleat. After I got a look at them I knew I had done the measurements wrong. So I knew the estimate of the cost wouldn't be quite right. They were about the price I thought they would be but not sure I can justify the cost right now. I still have carpet upstairs in DD's room that needs to be replaced and can't justify that expense either. I want to have DH take a look at the blinds as well and see what he thinks and whether he thinks he could install them. Just mulling it over at this point. I thought about doing curtains but just not sure what I want to do. I did find a blender. It seems like they're really cheap or really expensive. Fortunately I found a Cuisinart one priced sort of in the middle. Any of you do fruit smoothies for breakfast? Now that it has taken residence on my kitchen counter I'm contemplating how I can use it as well.
Anyway, the day was nice...reality sets back in tomorrow. I played with the Fitness Coach today. 15 minute segment with upper body and then a 30 minute cardio session and also played with the Wii Fit for about 20 minutes. Late afternoon Otto and I ventured out for a walk. It's so nice walking in the daylight!
Ham and bean soup for dinner and an attempt at a WW cornbread which I don't think I would make again. Way too dry for my liking. Eating has been good today. Probably didn't drink enough water but that's what happens when I'm running around.
Time to head to bed. Hope everyone has had a good day.
It is a game of its own and that is the name of it. You set up a profile and they have you go through various tests and it determines what type of fitness level your own and sets up a fitness program based on those results. It has segments for cardio, upper body, lower body, core. It also asks you what type of fitness equipment you own like weights, a step, stability ball and sets up your program utilitizing any equipment you have. You also set up how many days a week you would like to work out and the duration. During the workout it stops and asks you whether the program is too easy, working you hard or you can't keep up and it then adjusts the program according to your answer. I've used it a couple of times since I purchased it and so far I like it. Anything to keep me moving. I do get bored easily! Check it out at Amazon and read the reviews. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw?url=search-alias%3Delectronics&field-keywords=Fitness+Coach+for+Wii&x=0y=0
