Good morning everyone. It was a pretty good morning... this afternoon is just so-so... The tempatures are awesome reaching into the mid 40's and the sun is shining... Work ,,, well we all know how work can be... The March schedule came... It wasn't the hours I wanted but after thinking about it I am going to be ok with it.. The dd's baby is due in 3 weeks so I may have time to help her.. It just burns me.. how sometimes I can be good enough but then if the other girl needs the hours then she gets them.. it's BS... But quiet little me kind of puts up with it.. Walgreens is on the horizon.. so maybe I will apply there.. old ladies like me could probably get the day hours... anyway... Ok, who saw Fat Tuesday and thought of their scales first???? FAT.. I thought FAT.. I definately saw & thought FAT... lol

His Kingliness does not have a crown but I think it would be appropriate headgear for him. I think of that picture on my facebook page and thinking he does indeed look kingly in his favorite domain-the kitchen!

Yes he is in VA Beach hopefully getting gold certified. The way I sort of understand is that you go there and learn to work on certain equipment which allows your business to do warranty work on the product that is sold at the store and also if a customer brings in something it allows you to do the warranty work. It gives the business DS works for added money but the certificate will be in DS' name not the business. He apparently is the youngest one there and most of the guys there are business owners. None of the other guys DS works were up to the challenge and I was very glad that DS decided to give it a try. Apparently he was very excited about today's classes since they were going to blow things up! Not sure what that meant but probably better I don't know. He gets tested tomorrow and will be flying back in tomorrow night.

The bars were good. DH loved them. Very easy to make and if I can remember I will post the recipe. I actually found them in the March Good Housekeeping. They had an anti-aging diet which had some really good sounding recipes. I've never heard of Larabar.

An appliance repair guy once told us to repair our old refrigerator instead of buying new because the new appliances aren't built to last!

I feel your pain with the working situation. Back in the "Sunshine" days she always got what she wanted, when she wanted but nobody could say anything and it was a horrible situation. There was such obvious favoritism it was disgusting and so disturbing. Sure don't miss that!

Biscuits and gravy for supper at my house tonight - it was that or pancakes and sausage - I was thinking "Pancake Day" as they say in England, even though our pancakes are different from ours.

I did NOT think of my scale when I saw your post, as a group of us went out to celebrate Fat Tuesday after work, and I asked the boss if beads were involved.
