Good morning Miss P, I really like that picture and saying. I hope today goes well for your dad, I will be thinking of you all. We have a nice coating of ice on the cars this morning, which means it must be cold outside. Did I mention I dislike winter?
I had plans of getting out of the office at 4:30 but my boss's 4:00 closing was canceled so he remained in the office.......what a pain! I did not get out until 5:15, argh! When I got home my sister Sharon and baby Liam were here with Katie. Katie had taken the huge lasagna out and put it on the counter earlier for me. I got the oven heated and threw it in, washed my hands and grabbed that baby. He is so sweet and good. My parents arrived about 6:00, both boys got home around 6:15 and Bill got home around 6:45. Lasagna came out of the oven at 7:00. My huband was so cute, he could not wait to hold Liam either and while we all ate Liam sat on Uncle Bill's lap, lol. I had to cut Bill's food up like a little kid, but he wanted to hold him. Too cute! Bill had to run to a friends house to pick up
I love the "big girl panties" picture. It sure is tough some days to get those on and keep them securely fastened! Thinking of your Dad and you and the family. Good luck with the water issues both flowing and nonflowing.
The skies are blue here and the sun is shining and it is supposed to get warmer today although rain is headed our way at some point.
We didn't hear from DS last night about his testing. Not getting a warm, fuzzy feeling about that. DH called but didn't get a call back. I may text message him during the day and see if I get a response. I know this test is supposed to be a tough one.
As for the day ahead I'm sure it will be another busy one. Hard to believe the end of the month is looming and office is billing is on the horizon once again. Seems like we just finished that task! Otto and I will head out for our walk this evening and then hoping I feel more like a workout this evening. I definitely needed the night off last night and glad that I listened to the little voice inside my head. There are a lot of them talking at once some days.
I have a bit of a sniffly, sneezing runny nose this morning. All kinds of sneezing, coughing stuff going on in the office. I'm hoping it's just a change of weather kind of thing.
Thankful for life in general this morning. We have a roof over our heads, food in the refrigerator and jobs to pay the bills, cars to get us to and from, good kids and knocking on wood good health. So many can't say the same and so many days I take so much for granted. Thankful for you ladies here and the friendships that have developed because of this board.
Li-Deb-hope the meetings with the teachers go well today. Your family dinner sounded so nice and picturing Bill with Liam on his lap just brought a big smile to my face. My DH is baby hog when there are little ones around. He gets hold of them and doesn't want to share! Liam really sounds like a sweet little guy. Hope your work day goes smoothly.
Better get myself together for the day ahead. Hope you all have a great day!
I'm thankful for lots of little things and most everything .. I am very lucky and know I should whine so much about little things.. Thankful Thursdays always remind me of that,
I am sooooooooooooooooo EXCITED.... The dd called.. her water broke and she is in the hospital.... WooHOO!! I am soon going to be a grandma again... Wyatt is soon to make his appearance to the world.. !!!!! ::: happy dancing :::
