Just turned on the news and was surprised to learn about the proposed Universal Health Care … soundss like small business will be taxed an additional 20% to help cover this plan … wondering why would small business continue to offer health care to their employees while being taxed an additional 20% to help cover the cost of Universal Health Care for those in need …. Hmmmmm … isn’t that referred to as double dipping - taking advantage of small business twice?

Debbie, your evening with your family sounded so nice. Liam just sounds so sweet and I've seen pictures so I know what a cutie he is.

I hope the meeting at school went well.

Deb (& Shar), thanks for your 2 cents ... this is a subject that I could really get into a good debate on ... but I honestly, truly had best not do that.

Karen that is a lot of expense and the fact your company pays all that is does is wonderful. I think in NY it would be even harder. Our cost of living here is high, and some months we find it difficult. Our property taxes are off the wall here. My house is only $6,500 a year but I know Bill pays close to $16,000 for the shop. February is normally Bill's slowest month and for some reason (insert thank God), he was busy right through. Currently when you ride through town you can see in plain sight he is the busiest repair shop in town. Not complaining one bit, we will take it and ride it as long as the good lord is willing but I have to say everytime we have lay out extra $$$ here and extra $$$ there it hurts.
