Good Morning,

Gray and gloomy this morning with talk of rain and the "s" word is being muttered for Sunday.

DS arrived home safely but not very happy. It took me a text message and about 4 phone calls to get hold of him yesterday and when I finally did he told me he had failed the certification test. Upon arriving home I asked his GF how upset he was about it and she informed me that he doesn't actually know yet and won't know until today or Monday but has a pretty strong feeling that he didn't pass. I didn't question him any further as he obviously wasn't in any mood to talk about it and didn't want to put any further pressure on him to talk about it. I think that's why he sort of avoided DH yesterday. DH likes to ask a LOT of questions and doesn't always get the hint of when to back off. I think he went straight to bed last night as I didn't hear anything from his room last night. Of course, I'm hoping that his feeling about the test is incorrect. They did bring me home a great mug which I'm undecided whether to keep at home or bring to work. It has a picture of a crab and says Don't Bother Me I'm Crabby! I think I will put it in an appropriate place when people would be better off backing off!

Friday plans? Working the 9 to 5. Does the end of Friday lead you to relaxing weekend plans? Unfortunately, not really. I have so much to do around here it boggles my mind. What's up in your world? PRetty much same old same old.

I guess that's it from my corner of the world. Hope everyone is doing well and hope we here from Deb/MN. Wishing everyone a very happy TGIF!

Susan sorry your son thinks he did not do well. I am hoping he is wrong. As adults we know that even if he did fail he will have come away from the class/instruction time with my knowledge and hopefully a chance to take the test again. Sending him some virtual hugs...even if he can not feel them.

Debbie congrats on that new baby. He is a cutie pie and makes me want another one. Especially after getting to spend time with my nephew. No babies yet for us........I have to wait for my boys to settle down and it aint looking like too soon, lol. Congrats again!

Patty, no word on how you made out with your dad yesterday. I was thinking about you and wanted to post something last night but I got booted off the computer by DH. I hope the "s" thing avoids all of us.........I am so done with winter!

I had a fairly easy day yesterday at work. It was a short day, Sharon came by before she headed home to CT. She came at our lunch hour so we got to show him off and give him one more bottle before heading back. I then left the office at 1:50, picked up Bill and headed to the school. Met with her teachers which went well.....I hope. Not sure if I told you but because we are so worried about Katie with school and we see her struggling so much we had her tested at Huntington Learning Center. The director came with us to this meeting and spoke on Katie's behalf and told them he would be working with them to help Katie. Not sure if the teachers were happy with him being there but that was and is their problem. Katie starts her tutor lessons at Huntington today and will be going twice a week for 2 hour sessions. I think she happy we made this choice for her..........we can she is extremely fustrated and overwhelmed and is looking for help. Anyway.........after the meeting I took Katie to the barn for some horse time. We got home around 6:00 and we had KFC for dinner. I was upstairs fairly early for my tummy and head hurt and I soon discovered Aunt Flo was stopping in for a week long visit.

I woke up with a achy tummy and a bad headache. Got Bill and Katie out the door, took two Midols and two Excederine and went back to bed. I got up about 8:45, put some laundry on, had a cup of tea, made my bed and just took a shower. I am going to throw my sweat suit outfit on and head over to the office. I have two letters I wanted to finish and get in the mail for clients doing loan modification. Then I am going to walk over to the gym and sign up!!! I got a coupon in the local Penneysaver for 6 months at $250.00 and that was the "sign" I was waiting for, lol. Normally they get $325.00 so I was holding off but I can not afford to anylonger. So starting on Monday I will head to the gym for a walk on the treadmill and we will see where it goes from there. Katies has her first session today from 3 to 5, while she is there I will find something to keep me busy. Then after there is talk about her going to the movies with some friends, which I am sure will require some sort of driving on my half. Looks like our chilly temps went away for the day and the word is.........we should hit 51 today! I might open a window or two for the hour or so I am gone this morning. Well best if I get going since it is getting late. The sooner I get to the office the sooner I get out! Have a wonderful day everyone!
