1. Without looking at the calendar, what really implies the start of spring for you?
Baseball season gets underway!
2. Do you have the spring cleaning bug yet this year? What will be the first thing you spring clean?
The yard -- it's cluttered with sticks and leaves.
3. What one thing says "spring" to you more than any other?
Probably the first sighting of crocuses and other early plants popping through the ground.
4. Do you have any springtime traditions?
It's not exactly a tradition, but it's practically a major holiday around here when my husband and I can finally pull the grill and deck furniture out of winter storage.
5. When will you break out your spring and summer wardrobe? Do you follow the "no white before Easter" rule?
I'll break out the spring/summer wardrobe when, umm, it fits me again...maybe in 10-15 pounds. (Hope I make it by *this* spring and not next!) As for the "no white" rule, I generally ignore it. It's usually still cold at Easter where I live, anyway, and I don't have any white, winter clothes to begin with....
from this past week. That's a tough one this week...I'm going to have to think about this
1. Without looking at the calendar, what really implies the start of spring for you? Plants popping through the dirt, more daylight at the end of the working day.
2. Do you have the spring cleaning bug yet this year? What will be the first thing you spring clean? I can't say I really have the time for a good spring cleaning. Takes most of my energy just to stay one step ahead of the dust bunnies. Trying to just declutter around here which seems to be in stall mode at the morment
3. What one thing says "spring" to you more than any other? Extra daylight, buds on the trees showing the rebirth of the season.
4. Do you have any springtime traditions? It's more a DH thing as he starts planning out his garden.
5. When will you break out your spring and summer wardrobe? Do you follow the "no white before Easter" rule? The spring and summer wardrobe will be brought out as soon as I feel like it may be time to wear it. Although I need to do a serious look through of what I have. No, white can be appropriate year round. There are some beautiful winter whites!
DON’T FORGET,
DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME ON SUNDAY. I'm looking forward to it. No more dark nights of dog walking!
