Good morning!

I'm not very content with myself right now... but that isn't much different from any other day.

Good Afternoon,

The whole hour thing either way plays havoc with me for a few days. I ended up getting up later than I usually do but in fact it was probably earlier...doesn't take much to confuse me.

Contentment...hmmm...interesting for me. I guess I'm like a lot of you...feel really content at times and then there are other days where I just don't know.

The weekend didn't turn out at all as I had planned. I did deep cleanse the refrigerator yesterday. What a mess. Once I started taking things out I realized that the whole refrigerator needed a deep cleansing. Then the task of where to wash all the big shelves etc. Usually I try to do this stuff when I can just take it to the yard with a bucket of water and the hose but couldn't do that. So it was up and down the stairs to use the upstairs tub as we did away with the downstairs one and just have a stall shower. What pain. About the time I was in elbow deep with nastiness DD called and wanted to know if I wanted to go zapping with her for her registery. It's fun to go pick out wanted items for someone although after 32 years of marriage I could use a registry and shower! That took most of the afternoon and came home to try to clean up the mess I had created before trying to get dinner on the table. Fortunately dinner was in the crockpot. DD and I ended up playing with the Wii Fit sports program. We bowled a couple of games and then we each tried the tennis, golf and baseball games. I must say I'm totally addicted to the tennis game and the golf game was fun as well. I think I ended up playing for an hour more after DD went to bed. DD went grocery shopping with me this morning-that's always an interesting experience! We ended up going out again this afternoon as I have a shower to go to the beginning of April and the way things were disappearing off this girl's registery I decided I had better go find something and I'm notorius for waiting till the last minute and then not finding anything. A whirlwind trip to Best Buy and then I dropped DD back at her apartment. Needless to say I have accomplished nothing housework wise and it's a disaster around here. I still have bills that must be paid and laundry that has to be done since it's not appropriate for sweatpants and sweatshirts for work attire and that's about what's left in my closet to wear. I wish DH would pick up a little bit of the slack around here but he just doesn't get it at all. Anyway I did enjoy my time with DD.

Donna-I'm glad that the mechanic was able to fix up the car so you were able to do your weekend getaway-sounds lovely! Karen-I'm ready to pull up a chair alongside you-absolutely beautiful!

I'd better get to going around here-I still have a dog to walk and it looks like rain so better get moving. Hope you're all enjoying a special Sunday!
