This week I don't have as much on my calendar as I have the last few, so I don't have excuses for blowing off workouts!


I am going to do

My goals for this week are...ride my bike 5 miles on three different days.


Attend two bellydance exercise classes.


Two flexability/yoga sessions


Only eat fruit of veggies as snacks in between meals!


Devote 15 minutes daily to peace and serenity


That is week one for me and I must say this accountability to you all is probably the best motivator I could have!

Since it's been so challenging to get myself to do anything to benefit my physical and mental health I will challenge myself to workout at least 2x this week for 30 minutes and to meet the challenge of drinking water.

My challege this week will be the following:



  • Take my BP medicine each morning and my multi vitamin each night.
  • Follow WW guidlines and eat healthy. I will journal my food choices, stay away from high sodium and high fat foods.
  • I will drink 5 to 6 glasses of water each day (8oz size).
  • I will get 10 minutes of exercise daily (eliptical machine, walk outside, core tape........one of them).
  • Weigh myself on Monday and post it!

I am going to do the best I can with this challenge. I am not in a good place right now mentally and physically, but I am going to push myself to exercise as many days as possible until my knee surgery. I have no excuse this week not to do something every day. So, through next Monday, I accept your challenge and will drink my water and do some sort of formal exercise at least 5 times this week. I am going to be extra diligent with making good choices with food and watch the portion sizes especially with not being as active as I was. (the scale is showing it)
