How did your Tuesday go? It was an ok day. I did however have a run in with DH's clutter this morning. When you go down our basement stairs you would go to the right to the finished part of the basement and to the left you walk down a hallway to get to the laundry room. Now picture the hallway with paint cans on one side lining the wall and the other side lined with a various assortment of wood and molding, sheetrock, and who knows what else and a door that was once on the upstairs bedroom. Said door has since been replaced by a new one but of course the old one never disposed of-surprised? I didn't think so. Anyway, I've told DH numerous times that I was going to get hurt one of these days hauling a walking through there especially hauling a laundry basket. Well...today was the day. While doing my domestic goddess thing and trying to get laundry put away my shoe caught hold of said old door and I literally went flying. Who knew that a laundry basket would come in handy for breaking a fall. I did however smash my back into the wall, my leg went one way, my arm another. DH being home since it's day off asked what the noise was. My reply-me...next question...are you all right...my response not sure yet. He came down to find me in a rather twisted state with a laundry basket at my side and laundry that had flown everywhere. Fortunately no serious injury reported. DH's mission for the morning-clean up the d*** hallway. Yes there is still stuff lining the wall but at least room to walk now. Where the stuff went-not sure-certainly not in the garbage-said door still there just a different location. Not easy or safe living with a packrat!

Back to the day at hand- What did you eat? Breakfast-egg white omelet, english muffin, banana, oj & coffee. A cup of green tea when I got to the office

Snack-almonds & raisins

Lunch-Boca burger on ww sandwich thin topped with lettuce and a dill pickle, green salad, glass of skim milk and snack bag of mini chocolate mint rice cakes.

Snack-Dannon Lite & Fit white chocolate raspberry yogart w/fresh strawberries

Dinner-ravioli w/meatballs, green salad. Teeth are brushed and a dose of Listerine rinsing so no thought of anymore food entering my mouth this evening.

Did you drink enough water today? Think it was about 52 oz today. Challenge goals went well-30 minutes on the treadmill with a run/walk. One of those days where I didn't come in from work feeling like I had been hit by a truck and really got into a good pace on the treadmill. DH brought the meter reader from the utility company down to the basement to read the meter and not sure what he must have thought as I was belting out a few tunes!

You have a good day at work? The work day was ok. Moved along kind of slowly but I did get approval for my day off. Did you get a lot done at home? Not a lot just the usual before work stuff and final kitchen clean up still awaits. Is it nice where you live? Although still not very spring like temperatures the sun was shining and skies were blue and it was a nice night for the long route of choice by my favorite beagle.

Susan, I don't know how you live with the clutter and not just go ballistic!

Susan I have to agree with Nancy, I just do not understand how you do it. If Bill brought home half the stuff your husband did I would have used the old shovel years ago. Glad you were not hurt. Shame it took a fall for him to realize you could have been hurt seriously.
