How was your day? Did you meet up successfully with your personal challenges?
Susan
I had a pretty good day although I'm beginning to think that I have a morning curse over me. This morning as I get into my car I see a white piece of paper flapping under my windshield wiper-a parking ticket. We have 7AM to 7PM alternate side parking on our street and well..I usually move my car as soon I get in with Otto but forgot last night and you would think one of the XY's would notice and in a perfect world would ask for my keys to move it for me but in a less than perfect world would tell me I was on the wrong side but neither happened and now I have a $50 parking ticket. Yes, $50 for parking on the street in front of my house. The last time I got one of these tickets the fine was $25...oh well I guess everything is going up.
The work day went by quickly. It was busy, not frantic, but busy enough to keep moving the day along. There must have been something in the air bringing out the crazies as well. Otto and I did enjoy a nice evening walk. It was a bit warmer this evening so instead of 3 layers I was down to 2.
Eating went really well today. Breakfast was oatmeal w/cinnamon, 1/2 tsp brown sugar and went to the wild side with craisins and slivered almonds mixed in, whole wheat toast w/peanut butter oj and coffee. Cup of my morning get to the office green tea.
Snack-string cheese
Lunch-out of ideas for lunch and bored with most so I found a sesame chicken lean cuisine in the freezer and a green salad, glass of skim milk.
Snack-mixed berry Lite & Fit yogart w/fresh strawberries.
Dinner-chicken, noodle egg drop soup, cucumber salad and one dinner roll.
Exercise was 1/2 hour with Maya the Wii Personal Trainer doing an upper body workout. I really don't like push ups probably because I don't do them very well-but add a balance ball in and you have a comedy act!
Water was probably about 50+ oz.
My dishes are down, stove and counters cleaned off and I'll dry off the dishes and put them away, make my coffee for the morning and my kitchen will be officially closed. The washer is swirling and I'll have to make the dryer twirl if I want any clean clothes for tomorrow. I'm waiting for Otto to come back inside and then I'm headed to the shower and hopefully sit for a spell before heading off to bed.
Hope you've all had a good day.

Ending day three of our challenge on a postive note, which makes me happy. Work was not too crazy, just enough to keep me busy and make the hands on the clock move. I had a pounding headache around 4 but it went away on its own by the time I headed home at 5. I had a rep from one of the title companies come in and offer some tickets to see the Yankees play. My first thought was my son, Billy and his girl friend who is a total Yankee nut job. But he had tickets for a Saturday afternoon game and I thought of my FIL. I called and asked if he wanted them and the man is just thrilled! I totally made his day. He can not stay up too late anymore at night and his night time driving is not that good either. Figure let him enjoy it while he has his health.
