How did Tuesday treat you? Did you meet your challenge goals for the day? Mini challenge complete for the day? Are your water bottles empty? What was on your menu for the day?
Care to share?
Susan

I'm sitting here drippy and sweaty and really wishing that DS wasn't in the shower. I really don't feel like waiting my turn. And he takes really loooooong showers and I'm really hoping he doesn't use up all the hot water!
Work day is complete and a long one it was. The mood meter was back in full swing and apparently my other coworker got a good helping of it at lunch time. There is a right way and a wrong way to tell someone if you're not taking calls. As the Mood turns!
Otto and I headed out for our after dinner walk and although I don't think the temperature was that cold I sure was. I had a long sleeved tee and sweatshirt on and I was glad to get back inside.
Nancy-how was your first day back at work? Patty-glad to hear that you have an easier week this week. Thinking about Grace this evening and hoping all goes well with her surgery. Karen-Cold Stone cake?-love those!
Exercise for the day was 30 minutes run/walk on the treadmill, my push ups and some stretching.
Water was 50+oz for the day.
Breakfast-oatmeal w/craisins, walnuts, cinnamon and 1 tsp of brown sugar, whole wheat toast w/peanut butter oj & coffee.
My welcome to the work week cup of green tea when I got to work.
Snack-white chocolate raspberry light yogart w/strawberries
Lunch=bit green salad topped with chicken from last night's dinner, 5 wheat crackers with a Babybel light cheese, glass of skim milk
Snack-Kashi cherry chocolate bar
Dinner-Baked shrimp w/feta cheese, orzo tossed w/fresh basil, parsley & olive oil, broccoli.
Ah...I heard the water stop running so I'm going to run and get in before someone else decides to run the hot water! Hope you've all had a good day.
Another productive day back at the cube farm...
Breakfast - 1 glass cranapple juice, small bagel w/lite cream cheese - cup of tea
snack - 1 T peanuts and 15 mini pretzels - cup of tea
lunch - ham and cheese on whole wheat
snack - apple
dinner - cheese ravioli w/ red sauce made with italian sausage, mushrooms, bell peppers, all that good stuff...
Drank about 60 oz. so far
did vitamins
Gym - 20 min rowing, 15 min elliptical, 10 min stairmaster.
10 push-ups - girlie style :-)
I haven't had a chance to shower yet, but pot roast is in the crock pot in the fridge, ready to pull out and start before I leave for work in the morning.
Gym bag is emptied and re-packed and back in the car.
Dishes are done, kitchen picked up, but I haven't sat down, other than to eat, since I got home.

How did Tuesday treat you?
I had a good day today.
Is it Tuesday already? ;)
My first Monday in the "challenge" went reasonably well. I don't get up early like you gals; I get up at 7:30 to rush to work by 9:00 most days. Some days I'll be able to post around 11 or 12 am.
Today I did my 5 minutes of exercise this morning then went downstairs to fix breakfast. My breakfast is always the same: latte and bread-and-butter. I measured out the butter (1 Tbs of the whipped kind) and the latte is skim with no sugar. Bread today was multigrain from Great Harvest. I tend to round out the calories, so I count this as a 400 calorie breakfast.
Lunch was egg salad (one egg mashed with a drop of olive oil, salt and fresh parsley) on lettuce with one slice of holland rusk and a pear. That comes to roughly 300 calories.
A 90 calorie oatmeal bar and a decaf skim latte for midafternoon is a little less than 200 calories.
While I was fixing dinner, I had a carrot and half an apple, then dinner was chicken with broccoli (a pre-made thing, a little high in fat but only 250 calories) with half a seasoned potato (130 calories according to the package). I ate that with more carrot and lettuce (no salad dressing) and for dessert I had a small slice of pound cake (120 calories) and some frozen blueberries. I'm not sure about the calorie count of the fruit and salad, but I'd guess the whole thing was between 600-700 calories.
So-- 400, 300, 300, 700 comes to around 1700 calories. This is going to be my goal next week, but this week I'm just trying to stay at 2000 or less, so I'll probably have some milk toast with cinnamon for bedtime snack in a little while.
First I am headed to do some floor exercises to warm up before my 10 push ups. (I'll be doing "girlie push ups," I'm afraid.) After the push ups, I'll try to put in another 5 or ten minutes of exercise to keep up with my goal for this week.
One of the ivillage pages tells me that 100 steps per minute = moderate exercise and I'm going to see how I can use that to make myself do "moderate exercise" during the day at work tomorrow. (Walking around the school building for five minutes during a break, for example.)
I have to mark student essays after that, and hopefully get to bed before 1 AM so I can get up with a good six hours sleep.
Talk to you all tomorrow.

I never got back here yesterday, the late afternoon and evening got a little crazy and over whelming. After work I ran to the vet and picked up more medicine for Tiger then over to the shop to get money for Huntington and then over to Huntington Learning to pick up Katie. We got home and gave Tiger his pill first, he was low key and Katie cuddled with him for a little while then did her home work. I emptied the dishwasher, switched some laundry and set the table. About 30 minutes after his pill we gave him a little bit of wet cat food and then rest of his medicine. He was not liking it, lol. We kept him upstairs for a while as I cooked dinner and we ate. After dinner we let him out and he sat on the couch with Katie and I while we watched DWTS. I wanted to go out and walk but it did not happen. But I think I gave myself some leway this week, I need to check. About 10:00 we headed upstairs. Unfortunately Tiger threw up again around 10:30 but not all of it. Weird it was about 4 hours after he ate. Katie said he did not throw up again so that was good as opposed to gagging several times like he did the night before.
I did 20 sit ups and 20 push ups on my Core ball first thing in the morning. I took my BP medicine and my vitamines. I drank lots of water and here is my food for the day:
