The "real" Tuesday Checkin!

Well I know it is early for some of you but with the way my nights have been I am going to grab a few minutes while I can. Anyone else want to share how their day was? Good, Bad, Ugly??

Well ladies I got to work and did my check in for yesterday and that was as far as I got. Lets see Tiger got his meds last night and ate around 6:30, unfortunately he threw up again around 10:30 but only once. This morning Katie and I gave him his medicine before she left and I chopped up some boiled chicken for him for breakfast. He ate most of it and I let him hang around until it was time for me to leave for the office. At that point I put him back in Katie's room. I spoke to Rob around 11:30 and he said no throwing up, I then came home at lunch time around 1:15 and still OK. Katie reported the same at 2:30 when she got home, so my fingers are crossed tightly. I worked until 4:30 and when I got in and changed I gave him his one medication (antigas pill) and in a minute I am going to chop some more chicken for him. I will then give him another round of the antibiotic and the deworming stuff. I hope this does the trick, I hate seeing him like this. Because he has not eatten much his stool is like water and OMG it stinks. So I know his plumbing works. Poor guy! I will keep you all posted and thanks for listening to me yesterday and understanding.
After Bill and Katie left and Tiger got his medicines I went upstairs and did my 10 push ups and in addtion another 10 plus 20 sit ups then................(drum roll please) I put my Core Secret tape in and did the 25 minute work out! Then I made my bed and took a shower and headed into the office. When I log off here I am going to feed Tiger then head outside for a little walk since our weather is beautiful. I will pop back later but I did my medicine this morning and I will take my vitamins tonight after dinner. I drank more then 32 oz of water and I am still drinking now. So far my food has been:

It was yet another interesting day at work. The morning moved along with a few issues and then the afternoon erupted into one thing and then another. Mostly calendar issues for tomorrow but in the end I think I completed everything that I should. One boss as always in years past put off doing the application for the malpractice insurance off. I did it for him in draft quite awhile ago and left a note that it contained more sections and seemed a bit more complicated than years past. Usually I could fill in the information according to the year prior. But there's a lot more information needed and it was nothing I could put together very easily so that awaits being finished up. My boss just won a big decision on a case involving a local school board election. Of course I always declare it an office victory since without the other attorneys doing research and your support staff putting the product together it wouldn't happen!
I like Tuesdays when DH has the early bird dinner cooking when I walk in the door. Otto and I were able to get out earlier for our after dinner walk and it was a beautiful day. I hope you girls still having winter get to put your snow shovels away. The lines were drawn on the ballfield for the start of baseball season, lots of kids playing down in the park and people practicing their forehand and backhand on the tennis courts. A few tulip leaves poking their way through the soil as well.
Otto has gotten himself into trouble once again. Somehow he got into DH's lunchbox and apparently ingested at least 2 granola bars, cough drops and apparently some type of OTC product that DH had in there. I don't even know whether DH knows what has in there. Just hoping that his seemingly cast iron stomach gets him though yet another invasion.
DS went to the doctor this evening. Apparently he's been suffering from some rather severe headaches. Not much sends him to the doctor so I hope everything is OK.
Water has been 32+ oz and still working my way through my after workout amount. Exercise was my Weight Loss Yoga DVD-Level 1 and 2 for a 45 minute workout and my pushups.
Breakfast-egg white omelette w/ham and 1 Tbsp light shredded cheddar cheese, ww toast, 1/2 cup cantalope & mango, oj & coffee.
Snack-almonds & raisins
Lunch-1 cup leftover shrimp w/orzo, salad w/balsamic vinegrette, glass skim milk, apple
Snack-1 square dark chocolate, vanilla yogart w/fresh strawberries
Dinner-pasta w/sauce, meatball, breadstick, salad w/balsamic vinegrette.
I'm already to shower and settle myself in for the evening. Hove you've all enjoyed a good day!

Hi all. I've been enjoying your stories. I hope Otto (a dog, I assume) is okay from his over-ingestion. And I agree with whichever one of you said that she won't take artificial sweetener. Neither will I. It doesn't taste right.
This was not a perfect day for me-- I have to admit that the exercise didn't get done. I'm going to go for the push ups after I finish here and then toddle to bed.
I was late waking up and had to rush to work so I skipped my "step machine" work this morning. On the other hand, since its purpose is to rev up my metabolism, having to rush to not be late probably did it just as well.
I caught breakfast on the go, which means I bought coffee at the donut shop on the way instead of making my own latte. But I was good and didn't buy a donut. I bought a raisin bagel (no butter) instead. Lunch was a ham sandwich from the cafeteria. The only good thing about it is that you are never tempted to go for more. (It was just ham and mustard on boring bread.) I also had a cup of canned peaches. (I keep them in my office for when I crave sweet.) Mid-afternoon I indulged in fat-free fig newtons (200 calories) and while I was fixing dinner I ate a pear. Dinner was healthy and moderate. Big spinach salad (spinach, grated carrot, a couple of mushrooms all spritzed with one of those wishbone "spritz" dressings--about 5 or 6 squirts is still less than 10 calories.) poached salmon (I poach it in water, dill and sherry with a sliced lemon) and brown rice. Dessert was a 250 calorie "flan" I got at the grocery store. I'm still within my 2000 calorie limit and not hungry, which is good. I'll probably drink a cup of warm milk with cinnamon for bedtime since I didn't get my latte this morning and cinnamon not only tastes good but is good for you.
Work was busy as usual. I stopped at the grocery store on my way home and got food suitable for dieting. Since I live alone, I have to buy small portions of perishables or else cook normal size meals and freeze them. I will probably do that this weekend since I don't really like "prepared" food all that much, and it's always full of stuff that is not good for me.
I feel bad that I didn't exercise more, but if I try to do too much now it will keep me awake. (Incidentally, I'm in central time, not eastern time, so it is an hour earlier for me than it says on the "date/time" thing.) The push ups will have to be it.
Tomorrow is another day.
