Becareful what you wish for Miss P, you might have a few of us stop by for some wine and cheese one night, your not that far away from me I won't just drive if I feel the erge!

I woke up at 4:00 this morning with a headache so I took some Tylonal and went back to bed. I think the headache is from this lingering cough. I still have a touch of it and I took Excederine because I need to get rid of it. Tiger had a good night and I though just maybe but he threw up his chicken I gave him at 7:00. He did so much better yesterday and this morning he seems to have more spring in his step. The doctor wanted to do another x-ray proceedure that is going to run me over $600 today if he did not feel better but I think he is better, just a little bit. I am going to give him another 24 hours on the antibiotic before I rush back to the vet since he really had no real answers as to what might be going on. He has only had 4 doses of the antibiotic in his system, just over 24 hours since starting it late Monday. I know he is only a cat but say a prayer for him please. He is such a sweet heart.

We have damp cloudy skies this morning and they are talking rain. I did not exercise this morning because of the headache so I will do it tonight. Not sure what work will bring today but I am sure I will be busy. I was yesterday. My boss has a meeting outside of the office this morning at 10 followed by a closing at 11 so it should be pretty calm until he gets back around 1ish. It seems when he is around "stuff" happens. Dinner is pork chops tonight but that is all I have planned, have not even done my breakfast yet. I just finished my tea and I am not really hungry. Might have to grab a bagle.......bela mentioned that in her post last night and it got me thinking. We have this bagel shop that has yummy honey/whole wheat bagels! If I get my butt in gear fast enough I will have time before heading into the office. So let me run.......have a great day everyone and I will pop back in later when boss man is gone.

Good Morning,

Yes, cloudy, gray and dismal looking here on LI and rain is in the forecast for this afternoon. After dinner dog walking may be canceled due to rainy weather. We'll have to see if the weather people are correct.

"It seems when he is around "stuff" happens"-sounds just like my office although he can drive me crazy from afar as well! My boss will be in NYC for a court conference which I don't think he's too happy that he's the one going-but oh well that's sometimes how the court calendar spins and we're one attorney short and the court refused an adjournment so off he goes. No telling what else will go on in that place today. Every day is a surprise!

Otto is none the worse for his "foraging". As I was relating the story to DS about the invasion and mentioned the OTC products DH chimed in and told me that he hadn't eaten those-thanks for sharing earlier! I guess Otto was feeling even more munchy as he disappeared outside for a good long while and when I went to check on him there we was lying on the lawn with a big old nasty dirty bone he had buried and happily gnawing away. I really expected him to be sick last night as those bones don't always agree with him but he's been up and around and stalking DS for treats before he left for work.

The doctor feels that DS headache issues are due to his diet and the way he eats. He doesn't eat breakfast, he works at a job where he doesn't get a lunch break so often he eats on the go and at all different times and he doesn't like Mama's cooking so either does take out or whatever he can rummage together in the pantry. He can also sit and eat an entire package of EL Fudge Double Stuffed cookies in one sitting with a glass of milk. The doctor apparently chuckled and told him that probably wasn't the best thing in the world to do! He also suggested getting an eye check up which he hasn't had in years. This is my kid who used to eat pretty much anything and everything when he was little-he still can eat but only things of his liking!

A workout will on the agenda for this evening. Not sure what that workout will consist of but I'll get myself down here. I have a pair of pants this morning that I haven't work in a while and there a little loose in the waist so maybe I am making progress even if I don't think so-after all I am my own worst critic.

The usual AM around here. Trying to keep one step ahead of Mt.Laundry and my veggies for my "other white meat" stir fry are all cut up and ready to go.

That's about it from my neck of the woods. Final getting ready for work is still to be done so on that note I wish everyone a wonderful Wednesday!

Good morning all … we have yet another weather system going through that is dumping snow on us as I type … thankfully, only a couple inches are expected.

Good Morning Everyone,

I have had a heck of a time trying to get signed on to I-Village lately so I'm tickled to be here this morning.

Good morning all. This is the first time I get to check in during work. I am eating "lunch" as I type.

You all sound like you have very interesting lives. With my kids out of the house (college) and just me and the cats, most of my activity is work related except for the occasional date. (The good news is I have a date for this Friday.)

This is the time of year when students get really worried about their grades, so I have a parade of students coming in during my office hours to ask about what they can do to do better. A lot of times I can help them, but other times it really is too late to get that elusive "A." If you miss a lot of assignments and/or do poorly on several tests, only divine intervention is going to get you an "A." And the good Lord has better things to do than mess with students' GPA.

Morning went well. I did my 5 minutes cardio on the step machine and even 5 push ups. Then the cats got curious and I had to get dressed anyway, so I left the other five for tonight. I had my basic breakfast: skim latte, whole grain bread and (very little) butter. And I made it to work on time without too much rush.

I am eating a "lunch" of cheese and crackers (100 calories cheese, 100 calories crackers) as I type.

In a minute I am going to go do 1000 steps in 10 minutes-- or I will try anyway. Problem with this new idea for exercise is someone is sure to stop me as I circle the building. They'll see it as a wonderful opportunity to catch up on some news or other. But I'll give it a shot.

Talk to you all this evening.
