Good morning gang. I never made it to check in last night. I had a good day , focused on weights instead of cardio, ate well and drank like a fish :) I also got a lot of work
The sky is a beautiful blue right now and the sun is shining but did hear that that is likely to change. Blustery winds and maybe some rain again.
I think I'm really getting overly sensitive these days. Apparently there was an email sent about DD's bridal shower sometime the end of last week about possibile dates for the shower. I never received anything until Sunday. I didn't pay much attention since I wasn't feeling well on Sunday and just couldn't concentrate on anything. By the time I sat down with the calendar last night so I could respond there was another email saying-hey this day is good for everybody so I'm going to book the date. I'm hoping other DD said something and that she just didn't make an assumption that the date selected was ok with me. Again, I'm really being more sensitive than I should be but it just kind of irked me.
Moving on, the work day looms ahead. Can't really expect anything exciting (that would be good) to happen on a working Tuesday. But one can hope! I have a doctor's appointment immediately after work. Hoping all goes well with that. By the time I get home and eat there probably won't be a workout for this evening.
Nothing new and/or exciting around here. Laundry folding awaits before heading out the door and other household tasks and then hi-ho hi-ho it's off to work I go.
Good morning everyone......there is no way I can catch up around here since Saturdays posts so I am hoping you are all well. Sometimes it is hard to breath around here.
Saturday was spent with Bill working on the kitchen, we sanded the walls and then had to clean the dust......OMG! After the dust settled (literally) we had to rewipe walls, and clean the cabinest, appliances, tile, everything on the counter......what a mess. Then we painted two coats of primer.
Sunday we got up early and Bill gave the kitchen its first coat of green. It is called Mosaic Glass by Benjamin Moore. I took Katie to the barn, then home to shower and pack and then drove her to my parents house. Visited with Sharon and Liam for an hour then headed home. Katie went back to CT with Sharon and will be coming home Wednesday night. I helped Bill do a second coat of paint and then we cleaned the rest of the house. The dust from the Saturday sanding was everywhere even with drop clothes hung in the doorways. By the time we finished Sunday it was 8:15 and we still had to eat dinner so I am afraid to say I told the man to go to McDonalds. I never eat that and man my stomach quickly reminded me!
Yesterday was a miserable rainy day here on LI. Very depressing. Work really s*cked big time since my coworker pulled her back out and had to go to the chiropactor at 11 and did not get in the office until 12;30. I feel sorry for her but this has been happening so much these last few months yet she does not realize it or care and my boss says nothing....argh! I did my exercise in the morning which was good and I ate very well. I did however cook some veal cutlets for Bill and I with regular pasta, which was really yummy. I can not afford to cook veal cutlets with the way my kids eat so since it was just the two of us I splurged, I mean I really splurged. Does anyone else believe the price of veal cutlets....OMG, I paid $19.95 a pound. I bought 3 cutlets and it was just about $18.50. OUCH!
Today the sun is out and I did not do my exercise this morning, rather I enjoyed my tea and had to do the cat medicines.....what a fiasco this is. Since I get out of work at 3:00 and I do not have Katie I will get my walking shoes on and take a nice walk outside. I am making chef salads for Bill and I tonight and I can do them ahead. I just boiled the eggs. I have a hypnosis class with my MIL tonight. I will give it a try, wondering if I can make him tell me to love exercise and increase my drive. My over all food intake aint bad if you read my jounals.
Tiger.......well after Fridays test the vet seems to think he has ulcers in his colon. What does that mean? It is similar to Colitis. I do not understand even though he explained since I know Colitis gives your the runs and that was not the problem. He said the colon sends messages to the brain and then to the stomach to throw up..........I honestly think they are grasping at straws here. Anyway they gave him a shot of an antivomit medicine and 8 days worth of pills to hopefully calm his stomach down and get him to eat again. I have to continue with the twice a day of antibiotic and feed him this special canned food for digestive problems. After the 8 days I believe we will switch over to the dry formula and see how that goes.......for the moment he is feeling better. I have to feed the cats apart. In the morning and again at night I have to put each cat into two separate bedrooms and give them their food. It is a pain but like this morning each got their dishes and are seperate. I will pick up their bowls in a minute and then that is it until 5:30. They are used to grazing on the dry cat food but they are going to have to relearn to eat when its down and that is it. It is the only way this is going to work because Tiger ate some of Cassone's dry food early yesterday morning and he got sick within 15 minutes.....argh!
Well I really need to hussle now, it is much later and I should have showered already. I need to get done and run the dishwasher and be out of here in the next 30 minutes........guess I am going to be late???? Have a good day ladies.

And yet you
