How was your day? Was it exactly what you had planned or as some days go were there a few curves in the road?

I'll chime in as I have to get the boys off to swimming lessons and probably won't make it back.

I did an hour and 15 minute walk down by the beach this morning.

The day went as most work days go...work at home and work at work. I had my visit with the doctor. I sat in the examining room for almost an hour. It seems his PA while at work was experiencing abdominal pain and ended up having surgery for appendicitis so needless to say things were running a little slow this evening. I thought my pressure was a bit on high side but he said it was ok. I'm going to have to set up an appointment for a cardiac evaluation. I've been having some things going on that I've been trying to rationalize in my head and know that I shouldn't. I was hoping he would say it's this or that but after a whole lot of questions he suggested that I make an appointment. So first thing tomorrow morning I'll make that appointment. I had an evaluation about 4 years ago when I first started having palpitations and everything was fine but this is something different and just hope this too turns out be nothing. But rather err on the side of caution. I'll admit with all the articles you read, Grace's experience, my DD's BF's mom and the mom of one of DD's friends I know that I shouldn't take anything to lightly although I always feel like I'm a bit paranoid. The doctor did remind me however that women's symptoms are diffent than a man.

By the time I got home it was well after 7 and although DH had the pots boiling he wasn't paying the least bit attention since the hockey game was on. He also mentioned that he did laundry today after he shoe polish on his clothes and threw a few other things in. Who knows what went into the load and I'm a bit afraid of what I might find! And why don't men listen? DH had to go to the bank today to deposit his check so I asked him to please transfer some money so I can pay the tax man. He gave me some bizarre excuse why he didn't do that so looks like I'm headed to the bank at some point this week. I guess it makes sense in his mind to make another trip or rather for me to make an unnecessary 2nd trip to the bank. Men are weird!

No exercise for me today. But eating went well with a good portion of fruits and veggies and I'm working on my last 10 oz of water for 32+.

Breakfast-egg white omlette w/zucchini and mushrooms, whole grain english muffin, oj & coffee.

Green tea

Snack-almonds, craisins and dried fruit bits

Lunch-leftover soup (hoping I liked it better today), 2 whole grain flatbreads w/spinach artichoke dip, Babybell cheese, apple

Snack-vanilla yogart w/fresh strawberries

Dinner-whole grain pasta w/2 meatballs, salad

Hope you day has been a good one.

I should have popped in last night but it got late and I was exhausted. Work was fairly busy but not over the top so that was good. I came home at lunch time and had some of my chili and checked on the cats.......they both were fine and no more vomit. Headed back and worked until 4:30 since I had to catch up from Mondays fiasco. Got home and did a batch of laundry and enjoyed a quiet cup of tea. It is amazing on how nice the house stays without messy Katie around, lol. Picked up my MIL at 6:30 and headed over to the hypnosis class. Not sure if it worked but time will tell. Got home at 9:15 and Bill was working one the moldings in the kitchen, its looking really good. After we finally finish I will put together a slide show of start to finish so you can see what I have been talking about for the last
