My Wednesday was OK. Work was busy but not crazy although I think my boss has really lost his mind. I had a wacky prospective client on the phone at 4:59 who I had already spent about 15 minutes with him earlier in the afternoon. What an ordeal to schedule an appointment. He'll definitely be interesting!
First thing I did when I got to work was make sure I remembered to schedule the cardiologist. I have an appointment next Thursday at 4PM. Of course, I did have to remember to put in my "request" memo to leave early.
DD was here when I got home. She had a chiropractor appointment near here and then had to head back near to where she works for a benefit dinner. She wasn't eating until late so she did have to sample my dinner from the crockpot. It is nice coming in and having dinner pretty much ready to put on the table.
Otto and I had a nice walk this evening. The weather wasn't particularly nice but it's just nice to be outside. And with each passing day I see a few more signs of spring coming around.
I really did contemplate sitting out this evening for a workout but decided to give it a try. I put in my Boot Camp DVD and was only going to program it for the first segment but decided to program it for an additional segment and figured if I really still didn't feel like doing it I could always stop it. But I did push my way through both for a 45 minute workout and as often happens I do feel better that I accomplished that.
It was a good eating day as well, 35+ oz of water
Breakfast-Kashi vanilla wheat squares, craisins and banana, oj & coffee
Orange Spice tea at work
Snack-Babybell cheese & apple
Lunch-real dilema since there was nothing that was floating my boat. I finally decided on some scrambled eggs (one whole, one white) with some sauteed mushrooms, 1/2 slice of deli ham & a bit of light cheddar cheese & a whole grain english muffin (slightly on the burned side!), glass of skim milk, Kashi dark chocolate cherry bar.
Snack-yogart w/fresh strawberries
Dinner-pulled pork over whole wheat noodles, broccoli, carrots & cauliflower in a teriyaki sauce.
I'm now headed upstairs to clean up the kitchen, get into the shower and settle in for the night. Hope you've all had a good day and have a good night's rest.
Shar so sorry to read about your daughters friend, so young. My thoughts and prayers to the family.
Yesterday was fairly busy again. Worked all day, left the office and stopped at the shop to see how Bill was doing and he was running around like a chicken without a head (sorry Patty). I remained at the shop and helped a little by answering the phones. I headed over to Port Jefferson around 6:30 to meet Katie at the ferry. Katie took the 6:30 ferry from Ct and that put her back home to the NY side around 7:40. I decided to take Katie to dinner and we hit the Olive Garden, nice treat. Back home around 9:30 and Bill was still going strong at the shop so we stopped for a few minutes. Came home, fed the cats, threw on a batch of work clothes into the washer and then headed upstairs around 11:15. Doesn't sound like much but it was busy nonetheless. I did great with everything except the exercise again.
Breakfast: Cereal w/skim milk (my mind has drawn a complete blank on the name of my cereal), Tea w/skim milk and equal.
Lunch: Roast beef sandwich on Fiber One Whole Wheat bread w/lettuce, tomatoes and lite mayo
