Hi, Margie....I have been thinking of you a lot lately. Can't believe my DD is going through what you are dealing with. No details here but you all are very strong women to be able to do it.
Hope you had a good day today. Mine could have been better. I did try to not eat dinner after the lunch out I had.

Question for Susan...
Is there any way you can reschedule your stress test to a morning slot? I have had 3 of them and it is much better to do it as early as possible in the day. It is worth taking off from work to do it. Less chance of headache, dehydration, etc. Just a thought....
If you have any questions about the test, give me a holler. It isn't too bad overall, just a lot of waiting around. So bring a book or something to keep you busy.
Actually...you were lucky to get one that soon....

You Were Born An Original... Don't Die A Copy
Hi Margie & Grace,
Grace,
Deb/MN
They actually don't start the stress tests until after 1:30 PM so trying to avert the "memo" that would have to be done I did opt for the 5:30 one. I've actually had a stress test before so pretty much know what to expect unless they've changed them in the past 5 years? My last one was at 7:30 on a Saturday morning which was nice. They apparently don't do that anymore. Yes, my book will be packed! Always have to have reading material in a doctor's office!
Thanks Grace.
Susan
Grace,
I am so sorry that your DD is going through these difficult times. My Prayers are with her.

It was a rather slow day at work and an absolutely miserable weather day. It's been raining most of the day and right now it's pouring. Otto just came back in from his "business duties" and it reeks of wet dog!
Good news on the wedding front. They did find an available church for the wedding. Same time and only a short distance from the original church. DD found somebody who had pictures of it and she said it's even prettier than the church where they were supposed to be married. She will call them tomorrow to make sure everything is in place and to make sure the rehearsal can be held at the same time as the original plan. We all feel much better now that that issue has been resolved.
The clerical staff at work (all 3 of us) are all trying our own versions of getting weight under control. Hopefully we can help each other along. My co worker is a smoker so she asked me to make sure that her smoking breaks don't become more frequent. Now that she's trying to eat less she doesn't want to increase her smoking.
It's been a very good challenge day. I caught myself a couple of time while cooking dinner starting to nibble on the cheese and Otto benefited when I decided what was in my hand would go in his dish instead. He does love his cheese!
Breakfast-oatmeal w/banana, light whole grain english muffin w/peanut butter, oj & coffee
Snack-almonds
Lunch-soy pattie on 100 calorie sandwich thin, 2 dill pickle chips, green salad loaded w/lots of veggies & chickpeas, light babybell cheese, apple, skim milk

Exercise was the full Weight Loss Yoga Dvd-55 minutes.
I'm now heading to the shower and rest & relaxation for the rest of the evening. Hope you've all enjoyed a good day.

Margie,
Glad to hear that some extra TLC for yourself has eased the aches and pains you were experiencing.
The changes to your home bathroom sound really nice. Glad you're turning the house into your new home.
