Which way did the road lead you today? A nice straight path with everything done off your to do list or a few bumps and curves along the way? Tell us about your day....

The road did have a few bumps along the way today as far as the challenge as my healthy eating sure did go down the drain. My coworker had lunch catered in as a thank you for the office except when one of the associates mentioned that it was administrative assistants day the bosses suddenly decided they should foot the bill. Gee...thanks for remembering! Anyway, lunch was delicious and she had stopped at this bakery on her way into work and bought some really lovely desserts. I have a terrible sweet tooth and like Nancy described once it's engaged watch out! I had to have a slice of cake and then I just had to sample the bakery cookies and couldn't stop at just one. There was a lemon meringue pie as well but didn't sample that. Then a client who just won a great decision thanks to the office dropped off some Italian cookies...and then I just had to sample one of the biscottis. Needless to say the sugar crash came about mid afternoon. The boss was once again tippy toeing around me for most of the morning especially after our conversation on the phone where I nicely informed him that I had never confirmed appointments for him but if that is something he would like me to do I would gladly oblige. He sort of stammered around for a few minutes and said well maybe just for my after 5 appointments...no problem. Of course, the mood wheel had to then start spinning on the home front. There's just no rest for the weary.

I was excited to see the sun when I left work. Unfortunately just like yesterday by the time I got home it had turned gray once again. After the big lunch today I had no desire to cook and with DH running in and out I decided on leftovers for dinner. Not even any dishes to clean up-yeah! Otto and I got out for an early walk and it was a good thing since soon after we got home it started raining AGAIN.

Breakfast-Heart to Heart cereal with strawberries & banana, w/g toast w/pb & blueberry jelly, oj & coffee

Snack-almonds, raisins & mixed fruit bits

Lunch-roast beef wrap w/lettuce & tomato, sesame teryiaki chicken salad, green salad, slice of cake and several bakery cookies (think I stopped at 4), coffee

Dinner-left work with a nice plates of the teryiaki salad & green salad and a slice of leftover london broil.

40+ oz of water

It was going to be a non exercise night but after the overindulgence of the day I pulled out the Wii Personal Trainer and did 30 minutes with Maya doing a flexibility program and then 35 more minutes of the Wii Fit. I've now discovered an addiction to rhythm boxing.

I guess that's it for my day. Heading upstairs to my chair for some reading & some TV time and then time for bed.

Nighty night, sleep tight see you in the morning light!

It is definitely time for me to check in because I am tired and going to sit shortly.
