Good Morning,

Up and looking around for the beautiful day that the weatherman was talking about. Not sure where it is but it's sure not here...at least not yet.

I have so much to do around here and the front yard needs TLC. The DH gets consumed with his garden and really doesn't pay much attention to the front. Along with that I took a good look at the bathroom last night and for whatever reason he seem to be having a mold/mildew problem in there. When we redid the bathroom we changed the vent we used mildew resistent paint on the ceiling but it doesn't seem to be doing the job. Everything needs to be scrubbed down in there as well as just a really good cleaning. DD's room is still a mess and has to be painted before the wedding. DD is supposed to be coming by today and wants to take a ride out to see the new church for the wedding. So needless to say I'm torn in a million different directions. And, of course, what am I doing? Sitting here on the computer. I guess I just don't really know where to start at the moment. Maybe I'll just head to VA and do some Chicken BBQ with Patty!

But enough whining, I'm going to change into some workout clothes and get that done since I haven't done anything in that department since Wednesday. Then see what I can get accomplished around here.

Li-Deb-good to see a post from you. I was wondering if I was going to have to come look for you! DS is very interested about your boys being at the Pinks All Out. As you know he loves his cars!

Debbie/MN-really sorry to hear about the work schedule and your dilema about the working situation.

Karen-loved the picture of the dog and cat. I guess everyone is playing nicely.

Margie-Happy Birthday to Brock! How quickly they grow! As far as the ex-let him plan his own. He made his choices-let him live with them. No reason to put stress on Brock's special day!

Well better get moving if I hope to accomplish anything. Hope you all have a super Saturday!

Yes Susan where is the sun they were teasing us about all week??? Not our here in EI either I'm afraid. Tell your son that Stacey's brother and dad started working on this mustang last year and they registered for the Pinks try outs months ago. They were picked in October and thus began the mad thrash of work. Stacey's brother Keith is good friends with my boys (this is how Stacey and Rob hooked up) and he is the one that had the accident a year ago last December when some pipes fell on his foot crushing it. He had to have the foot amputated. He is on disability and was really getting depressed when his dad suggested the project. It has cost his dad a fortune but when they got accepted everyone was surprised. My Rob jumped in to helpl out inbetween his school work and his paying jobs. Since after Christmas they have been going like crazy. Tell your son it was just a bare mustang shell..........they did everything from roll cage, dash, motor, suspension, and paint. My Rob actually painted the car in Bartone's shop here in Huntington. I am sure you son knows who Bartone is (he races NHRA professionally and his brother lives in our town, Rob details his cars and they fell in love with my Rob and gave him keys to their shop so he can use the spray booth anytime). Anyhow they worked right to the last minute and Keith and his parents headed down to the new track in NC last Saturday with the car, trailer and the motor home. Since Rob and Stacey had class all week and they are coming into finals they could not go so early. Instead they flew down late Thursday night and are with them this weekend. Yesterday they had 2 time runs that went great. It appears during the week while testing on another 1/8 track they hurt the tranny and had to have it repaired. Always something with the race cars. Today they get 2 runs to qualify or rather see what class the Pinks Team decided to go with. I hope he gets in and gets some TV coverage. It would be awsome for the kids......they worked so hard. Tell your son they get one time shot with the tree and another with the guy doing the arm drop, he will understand, lol. Let me know what he thinks.

Good morning ladies! Very pretty picture Miss P, I just love spring time and spring flowers. I have a few windows open hoping the sun comes out as they said it would. We are supposed to hit 80 today.......wait I see sunshine! Dinner last night was my very own box of Kraft Mac&Cheese-Sprirals, lol. And I did not share. That was so bad for me and my stomach let me know around 10:00pm. I have several things I want to do today and I guess first would be to get off the computer. I have laundry swirling away in the kitchen and I want to take a walk so I guess that should be first. After that a shower and then head to the bard so Katie can ride. I need to run over to the Huntington Learning Center to pay them and then I want to meet up with my sister and go over to Boarders. I want to buy an extra pair of "reading" glasses and I heard they had really cute ones. I placed a Peapod order for a delivery of Monday so I need to fine tune it since I need to get a few things to tide me over till then. I want to take them off my Peapod order, no need to get extra stuff unless its a super deal. Bill has some errands to take care of this morning and then he wants to work on the beadboards on the other wall today and maybe finish it up. Then next weekend he can work on the crown moldings along the cealing. I have a huge pile of ironing that needs to get done and pack away all the Easter decorations also. Hope you all have a wonderful day today.....hope everyone has a bit of sunshine!

It wasn't a relaxing Saturday for me... Up and off to the gym, did the elliptical and treadmill.

Karen, I'm a bit late with this, but I wanted to congratulate Zach on his nomination to NHS.
