You can tell it's been a slow day at work when I have to resort to filing, one of my most detested tasks at work...it's right up there with bathroom scrubbing. Love the end result but absolutely hate doing it!

Looking at the calendar at work after next Friday being short one attorney is going to be quite the challenge. Hope they have placed an ad somewhere. I can't believe there's a shortage of lawyers looking for a job. It will make the office days interesting.

It was an excellent challenge day.

Breakfast-Kashi Heart to Heart cereal w/skim milk, coffee, oj

Snack-Babybell cheese, apple

Lunch-salad w/chicken & lots of veggies, 2 crispbreads w/Laughing Cow cheese, skim milk, red grapes

Snack-strawberries w/yogart

Dinner-whole grain pasta w/sauce & meatballs & salad

40+ oz water

Exercise-beautiful day and decided to take a 30 minute walk outside instead of working out inside. Also a nice walk with Otto.

Heading upstairs to the shower and to retire of my comfy chair.

Hope your day has been a good one!

I never had a chance to get to the board last night for a check in or this morning for a regular post. I will tell you that I well yesterday, drank my water and took a 25 minute walk outside. The evening went downhill from there were we had a family meeting to discuss Tiger's situation. It was a somber night at my home and we all agreed we would try one last round of medication testing on him and if it does not work it would be best for him to be put to sleep. He has lost a considerable amount of weight and his spunk and fire is just gone right now. All he wants to do is sleep.

Got Katie and Bill out this morning and had to fight the cat alone to give him is medicine (see what I mean) since neither wanted to get their clothes full of hair before starting their days. I had a good melt down about the situation and when I tried to talk to my middle sister she just hurt my feelings. I won't go into details but it lead me to just cry and cry and I did not get into my office until after 10:00. I did text her to tell her she hurt my feelings and she called me back. We got into a bit of a heated arguement from there and agreed we both had to go. I put a call into the vet and unfortunatly he did not call me back, so that was when I headed into the office. Work was quiet, thank goodness and the girls were really sweet about my feelings with Tiger. After I left the office at 3:00 I ran home and picked up Katie and drove her to the barn. From there I ran to my MIL's favorite resturant and bought her a GC for her birthday (she is 75 today). While in the car I phoned the vet again and he spoke to me. He understands my fustration and we have decided to treat this as colitis using the proper medication for the illness (a steroid called Pretizone), he wants me to continue the Zantack 2x's a day and feed him the "rabbit" food he does not like but the vet said it is best for his stomach in case this is an allergy combined with the colitis. He said leave it out, if he is hungery enough he will eat it, which I know is true. The vet then told me to drop by with him on Friday when I am off and he will check him out again and not charge me the $65 office exam. Todays medicine was another $21.00 and the food $26.00. My middle sister sent me 2 text messages today appoligizing again saying she did not mean to hurt my feelings and saying she was sorry. I just ignored the messages and I will let it be for a day or two. I needed a shoulder not a lecture about caring for a pet and doing everything humanly possible. Ya know! After the vet I came home and set the dinner table, put the pork chops into the oven and then dropped my MIL's card and gift off to her. From there back to the barn to pick up Katie. Dinner was done when we got home except to warm the veggies, easy meal. After dinner Bill and I went for another walk, this one was 40 minutes, it felt great to walk with him. Well I want to check out the DWTS and relax a bit and be in bed by 10 if possible. I was a very emotional day for me. I hope you did not get bored reading my saga........sorry. Hope you all had a great day today!

Breakfast: Tea w/skim milk and equal, scrambled egg w/scrambled egg whites

Lunch: Homemade Chicken Salad (made with Hellmans lite mayo) on potato bread with lettuce and tomatoes

Snack: 2% string cheese

Dinner: Baked pork chop, scalloped potatoes, stringbeans and one crescent roll w/butter
