Good morning. I
Miss P
Good morning, Miss P.
"Make Choices that bring you joy" cl-Patty
Good Morning,
Otto must have read that quote with some of the things he's peed on over the years-including but not limited to my yoga mat!
It's about 30 degrees cooler today than yesterday. Right now the skies are a little gray looking but the sun looks like it's trying to make an appearance.. I'm so glad that I opted to go out for a walk last night. It felt really good to be outside enjoying the fresh but very pollen filled air. Lots of people out walking, running, biking, kids and families playing in the park. It's nice to see that activity again. My white lilac tree is in bloom again and looks so pretty against the neighbors flowering pink tree right behind it. It have to remember to clip some of the lilacs and bring them in since I love the smell of lilac.
I was a bit concerned with a phone conversation I had with my sister last night. She called with a question about something and then told me that she's going for a bone marrow test. Her white blood count has been very elevated for some time and her platelet count very low. They've indicated that it could be from the prednisone(sp?) that she's been on for several years or of course with those kind of symptoms I think cancer could also be a possible thought. She's also been neglecting other medical tests like her mammogram and my other sister has been after her to get a colonoscopy and she says that she's going to attend to these things. I really hope everything is OK.
Another day at the workfarm. It may be another day of filing but at least I get a good workout in up and down off the stool for the files on the top shelves and squatting to get at those bottom of the shelf files.
The weather should cooperate for an after dinner walk with Otto and not sure what type of workout I'll be looking at this evening. Perhaps something involving my weights.
Younger DD feels like she's going through a midlife crisis although her BF says she's too young so instead she's calling it a quarter + 3 crisis. She's having all kinds of issues at work-mostly involving XY's with egos that are just overflowing. I think she likes her job it's just certain people in management that make it hard to do your job and enjoy it. She's been looking around but anything within her field requires a Master's degree. And of course with the state of things it's not an easy task to begin with. She's still in debt with her undergrad loans so taking on more loans isn't an option. If she got married she could go for free at the school where her BF works. She doesn't seem to be ready to take that plunge although she seems to be getting more used to that prospect. I guess like a lot of us she's not sure what she wants to be when she grows up.
Li-Deb-many hugs to you over the Tiger situation. It's a tough spot to be in.
Nancy-hope Mother Nature cooperates with your planting.
Patty-sorry to hear that the Flo-mobile is taking you for a ride. I remember those days all too well and there are days when I swear she still toys with me.
Time to get moving. I got up late so still need to empty my overflowing laundry chute and sort some laundry-such excitement! Hope you all have a Wonderful Wednesday!

Well, if THAT doesn't belong on an embroidered pillow in the middle of my living room sofa, nothing does!
