It has seemed like Thursday for me too! Although I always seem to think Wednesday is Thursday even though I work them all! Wishful thinking on my part.
A real change today from the temperatures we've had over the past few days. I definitely needed long sleeves underneath my sweatshirt for dog walking. I'm sure other people thought I was overdressed but when you're walking at a snails pace except of course when you see a discarded cookie (the dog not me!) you're not exactly working up a sweat.
Work was work for me as well. The day seemed to move along. The boss was in court for an extended day in Family Court. He was not happy. He'll be away for the next few days and I think he was hoping to get some work out the door this afternoon. Oh well...such is the life of a legal eagle.
I'm expecting a war between my two girls to ignite shortly and I know I'm going to be right smack in the middle. Younger DD is doing the wedding invitations for her sister. Fortunately they hadn't been started before the change of church but now they need to be started and they're seems to be a difference of opinion of what she wants and what in reality can and can't be done. I'm sure I'm going to hear the other side of the coin tomorrow morning. Never a dull moment.
It was a good challenge day for me. I did 30 minutes with the Wii. Nancy, I actually did put my focus on an upper body workout this evening. What exercises come up with yours when you put that focus in? Some of mine were plies with a lateral raise, upright rows and then there were some 2 count bicep curls, tricep kickbacks, shoulder presses. The weird thing is most of the exercises were showing without the use of weights but I used mine with the exercises. Seemed kind of pointless without them. I unlocked a new one doing pushups on my stability ball-I was an interesting sight!
Breakfast-scrambled eggs w/1/2 slice of ham, light cheddar cheese, light whole wheat english muffin, oj & coffee
Snack-mix of Cheerios, almonds & raisins
Lunch-turkey w/slice of swiss, lettuce, tomato & honey mustard on whole grain bread, whole wheat pita chips w/salsa, red grapes
Snack-vanilla yogart w/strawberries,
Dinner-turkey sausage w/ravioli & spinach, salad
40+ oz of H2O
