Hi Everyone,
I don't know how much rain we got yesterday but it was a whole heck of a lot!

Good Afternoon,
Loved the quote and picture this morning Patty!
Never did get a chance to get to the board this morning. I didn't sleep well last night. I had a brainstorm right after going to bed about this whole bedroom switcharoo thing and it had me laying in bed for hours laying out the groundwork for my plan. I couldn't wait to try out the idea on everyone to get opinion. I've decided to convert the downstairs bedroom which now houses the TV into the guest bedroom. The room is small and most of it will be occupied by the double bed but in reality that's all that's usually in a guest room. There will still be room for a small night stand and the small corner TV cabinet from DD's bedroom with the TV. Then move DS to the bigger room where he can have a closet and a bit more space which will then let me use his room as my hide-away. The room is oddly shaped but there's a little alcove where I can either set up the TV or a small desk for the computer. DH had made an extra closet with shelves which could house my filing cabinets and it might even allow me to move my unused sewing machine up there. It would be nice to have that out and about again rather than sitting in the basement housing "stuff". It would also open up access to both closets again. The colors that are presently in both rooms are good colors so it would avoid having to repaint either room for awhile. And then I would just have to select a neutral color with DS for the room and let him worry about the flooring. I'm really pleased with the ideas and think it will be a great solution. I haven't spoken to DS about it yet since I didn't see him before he left for work this morning.
My girls spoke this morning about the invitation snafu. Older DD accepted the fact that she made a big time booboo by deleting the wrong item. Fortunately she's able to return what was wrong. But instead of waiting for the exchange which can take up to a month she just reordered the correct material and will return the old. She'll probably have to pay the restocking fee. I'm glad that there were no words exchanged between them. They're such total opposites of each other.
I've been to the grocery store and I don't know whether my mind is still whirling and twirling or it's lack of sleep but I ended up coming home with things I didn't need and things that I needed that I forgot. I also spent quite a bit over what I usually try to spend and haven't quite figured out what I did.
I headed up to the nail salon for a manicure and then back to the grocery store to pick up what I needed for tonight's dinner that I forgot. Can't make stuffed shells if you don't have stuffed shells. I have custody of the youngen's this evening and DD had asked if that's what I would make. I'm thinking of a Mississippi Mud Cake as dessert.
My washer and dryer are doing their thing. With all the other projects around here yesterday that task remained undone. I still have some bills to write and need to update the checkbook as well. I'm hoping that I'll get my trainer out of the box and into the Wii for some type of workout today. As always a lot of things I'd like to do and just not enough hours.
Patty-really sorry to hear about the mowing issue. I think it's about time the BIL take over the yard care. Is there some reason that he's not capable of doing it or does he just expect you to take care of it because it's something you've always done.
Margie-pack up the rest of the ex's stuff and wash that man right out of your hair! Time for him to realize what done is done and move on!
Debbie/MN-Happy Anniversary! That's sweet Mimoas and Strawberries! Hope you enjoy your day!
Nancy-I have to say sitting on the deck in the sunshine with a book sounds dee-light-ful! Whatever your decision on how to spend the day I hope you enjoy. I've had a bit of the crabbies as well!
Karen-my DD's had the issues with the cliques as well. There's just something about that age.
As I say everyday-time to get moving! Hope you're all enjoying your Sunday.
Susan
Hi Patty,
Just MHO, but BIL needs to get his act together and mow.
