Good Morning,

Thank you for the wonderful Memorial Day post Patty!

It's been a crazy and hectic weekend here. Younger DD ended up staying an extra day and she actually just left here about 7:30 to head back to MA.

Saturday was invitation day and the day went well. It was a full day of assembly, stamp buying, label buying and making and stuffing envelopes. DD left Saturday night with a few to still put bands around and get into the envelopes. We all thought it was over and done with until DD called younger DD yesterday and said she's short about 10 invites. Younger DD bit her tongue and quite frankly I don't see how she could possibly be short. 150 invitations pretty much is 300 people. Anyway more pocket folders have to be ordered, paper ordered and more invitations run off, assembled etc. In the mayhem of invitation central we decided to take a break late afternoon and do some shoe shopping. I found a pair for the wedding and they were beautiful but a bit more than I really wanted to pay. My dress is floor length so they're probably not going to be seen, they were slip on which I thought I would prefer a strap and I'm probably going to spend most of the evening without shoes on knowing me. Needless to say I ended up taking them back yesterday and I found a pretty pair of silver sandals that I could possibly wear again for $15.

DD was supposed to head home last yesterday morning but we went shopping. I wasn't totally happy with the dress I bought online from Penneys for the wedding activities. We all thought it was cute but I could probably find something I liked better. I did find a nice turquoise, blue, brown cream floral dress that I liked much better and a pair of blue strappy sandals that look so nice with the dress. We also made a stop in NY & CO and found a great pair of pants for work on sale with an additional 15% off. By the time we got home it was 1PM, DD's BF was going golfing so she decided to stay the additional day. We then proceeded to go back out shopping. She's trying to find inexpensive white shoes for her bridesmaid's dress and bright yellow shoes for a dress she bought. With all the bright colors out this year you wouldn't think yellow shoes would be hard to find but she came up empty handed.

Today I'm hoping to get DD's room stripped down. I've made up my mind that the house is going to be in chaos until this project is over. Unused furniture is going to head to the basement, DD's mattress that is going to end up down here anyway and other DD's mattress is going to head to the living room so they don't get full of all the dust from the sanding that's going to have to happen. DD's TV and stand that will end up down here also be in command central in the living room My desk down here disassembled and the smaller one put in it's place. Of course DH has other things in mind for the day but I may change his mind since DS is also around today too. I figured with 3 of us we should be able to get this underway. It will then be up to DS to get his paint and get carpet ordered so this turmoil will be short term.

We're supposed to be going to a graduation party mid afternoon as well. I'm not sure that's going to happen. We'll see.

For now I'm going to head upstairs and get in a 30 minute workout. Hope you all have a good day!
