Good morning everyone! Yesterday I was outside and kept getting whiffs of something wonderful and then it hit me..honeysuckle!!I love the

Good Morning,
I love the smell of honeysuckle too. When Otto and I take our walk we pass several houses that have honeysuckle bushes and I make sure I take a big deep breath of that wonderful smell.
It's Saturday so that must mean there's lots to do today. I was originally going to head upstairs and get the sanding started. When I asked DH to get me the supplies I would need I got the brush off and told he would take care of it. I swear if this project doesn't get started because of waiting on him I am really going to have to find a really big shovel. There are still holes available? It looks like instead I will be heading out to the paint store to track down paint that matches the paint in his old room. He likes the colors and wants to duplicate them in the new room. I have the old cans and hopefully they still make the paint. I always use Benjamin Moore and if that was the case it would be no problem getting paint a few years old. However, that time around we used a different brand so I'll have to see if they still make it or try to match it up the best that I can.
Looks like I'll also be heading to the carpet store. DS went to Lowes the other day and had no clue what he was looking at so I may go back there and also to the local flooring store that we've done business with before and see what they have and do some price comparison. I also have to clean out my refrigerator that is overflowing with must gos. The bathroom upstairs, now that the caulking has dried needs to be cleaned up and I have to get to the downstairs bathroom as well. The dog hair problem has reached epidemic proportions as well. Meals to be planned as well...fit in a workout...and get Otto out for a walk. Of course there is the front yard and needs to be weeded as well. Just a typical Saturday with too much too do and not enough hours to fit it all in.
I guess if I hope to accomplish anything I need to finish my cup of coffee and get the show on the road!
Hope you all have a super Saturday!
Susan
Love the scent of honeysuckle too. We can smell it when we drive through country tree lined roads especially in Stony Brook this time of year.
I am off to the knitting/crocheting meeting at the church. I actually made two things this time...a "prayer" shawl and a baby blanket.
Going out east later to my friend's DDs' dance recital. They are thrilled....

I love the smell of honeysuckle, and will get to enjoy it, along with the smell of fresh-mown grass today.
