Lots of good with DH having finished the second coat of paint, ripping up the old nasty carpet, and hauling to the curb for trash pickup tomorrow and nailing moldings back in place. Big D in place! Good was that I did get a workout in this evening after a rather bad day of eating.
The bad-well I have the boss' mood which is similar to the weather-perhaps a glimmer of sun, then gets real cloudy, very dark and the then the thunder moves in-that is pretty much the mood that haunts us all at the moment. Not pleasant! Then we have my four legged one who is rapidly chewing his way through a wooden baby gate that is at the bottom of the stairs. He's gnawed several of the rails and I can't quite believe that he doesn't have splinters in his tongue. He only does it when someone is home and wants to be upstairs. He also managed to get himself up to the kitchen counter this evening and send my remaining pasta sauce from the container flying everywhere. When I say everywhere it was on the walls, stove, window, window ledge on the floor between the stove and wall (which upon cleaning up I discovered that I sure haven't been in there lately to clean), all over the microwave. You name it it was covered in pasta sauce. Otto seemed to enjoy it and if I wasn't so annoyed I might have been amused to see how far a 56 lb dog could wedge himself in between a stove and wall to lick it clean! He also somehow managed to let himself out the back door. Apparently the lock was somewhere between locked and unlocked he decided to push himself against it and voila there he was on the other side of the door. I really think he's getting a bit weird in his old age.
Ugly is the weather! The humidity is nasty, no sunshine in sight and lots of rain! We did get a reprieve this afternoon after a mid afternoon down pour and Otto and I were able to complete our after dinner walk.
That pretty much sums up my good, bad and ugly for the day!
