It is Wednesday evening and, as I type this, I am listening to the report about the hate crime at the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC.

It's been a long day. The work day was a long one and became one thing after another this afternoon.

Otto and I took our after dinner walk and I decided that it was a night off from everything until I went upstairs to use the bathroom and discovered that DH had cleaned out his rollers and paint brushes in the bathroom and we'll just the brushes and rollers were clean but the rest of the bathroom was tinged with blue and gray paint. All over the top the vanity, the side of the vanity, the floor, the toilet, the tiles in the bathtub and apparently DS had to throw his toothbrush away since that was covered as well. I cleaned out the sink and some of the tile in the bathtub but didn't have the patience or energy to give it the scrubbing that it really needs. It will have to wait until Saturday. Tomato sauce last night and dried up paint this evening. Not exactly what I had in mind.

I did end up poking around in the downstairs freezer and finding a Carvel brown bonnet with raspberry ice cream. Probably a zillion calories but I really didn't care...I hate the whole dang thing and enjoyed every single lick!

I was on the phone with DD for quite awhile. She's really concerned about my SIL and had a long talk with her about consulting with another oncologist and exactly what is going on. DH told me that she was going to having another surgery to remove a lymph node to be tested but failed to tell me that the surgery was scheduled for next Wednesday. I think she is going to consult with another oncologist once she gets the next pathology report which I was very happy to hear. DD's BF is doing some research for some good names within her health insurance provider. I also spoke to my GF who is a nurse and get her opinion about everything that is going on with her. She did say when you have a precancerous diagnosis that there will be varying opinions about a course of treatment. She absolutely agreed that she needs another opinion. Of course no matter how opinions there are she will still have to be the one that will have to make the decision on which road to take. So very difficult.

I'm headed for bed. I want to try to get up and get an early morning workout in as I won't be home tomorrow evening. Not sure that's going to happen the way I've been sleeping but I'm going to try.

Nighty night everybody!
