Good Morning,
I am so longing to sit their a spell and I'm so needing some R&R at the moment. There's so much to tackle around here and it's giving me the jitters!
It's another gray, dismal day. We had rain again for a bit yesterday afternoon and early this morning. This is just soooooo old!
The carpet is in. I had a bit of an anxiety attack yesterday morning when the installer laid the first piece and asked me to look at the sample before he started the installation. It was so blue! It wasn't at all the color I remembered although the name was right. It had a blue color to the name but definitely had gray undertones. I was in a complete state of panic. I had DS run home from work and he still liked it although it was we ordered and at the point not much we could have done. In the end it really looks nice. DS helped me move the armoire back and then after dinner DH started disassembling the bed to be moved. Otto thoroughly loved having the mattress on the floor and made himself right at home! DS had a graduation party to attend last night which he really didn't want to attend. He would have loved to be at home hooking up all his electronics. Meanwhile I have a huge pile of clothes thrown on the floor that belongs to DD. They're going to get thrown in a plastic bag and she'll have to go through it and get it out of here. By the time we moved things around it was around 10.
I headed out to the grocery store this morning with 1/2 list. I'm really having trouble focusing on every day tasks with everything going on. We're headed into see DS'sister for her birthday. I ordered some ziti and meatballs from a local deli. They do great catering. DH's job is to pick up the birthday cake and DD is in charge of picking up some flowers and some lottery tickets. I think she was really looking forward to having us come in. I know she's got a lot on her mind and she's going in to have the surgery to have her lymph node removed on Wednesday so hopefully this will be a bit of a distraction for her.
I've been up since around 6:30 trying to take care of unattended laundry. It's all folded just has to find it's way to its proper location whenever and wherever that may be. I'm going to head to the nail salon and then in to my SIL's. No exercise today. I did my preprogammed 30 minutes with the Wii Active yesterday and another 20 minutes with my 30 day challenge and I'm feeling the effects of that this morning!
Better get moving I have things to take care of before heading out. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning...love the picture Patty. It made me jealous to see such a nice scene with the cloudy rainy day we have so far again today.
Who would have guessed that Groucho Marx could be so deep? I really have to keep it in mind because I refuse to go down the path of depression and illness. I have to take care of my heart, for goodness sake! Must get in good exercise sessions more regularly (starting tomorrow :-)) and eat better (oh no, DH brought home warm bagels). Enough is enough! My stress over DD is not going to change the situation. Have to trust her attorney...he really is a good one...and know this too shall pass (eventually).
Anyway, no real plans for today. I think I will vacuum because I put it off long enough and then enjoy some relaxing afternoon time with my crocheting. I do want to finish up a blanket for St Charles Hospice.
Have fun on your ride Nancy. I have to give you a lot of credit to get on the bike with your jitters. Too bad MIL has to be thought of as a duty. Glad she didn't get on that float...one battle won.
That is all she wrote for now...enjoy the day all!

Hmmm....how come things always look different once we see it at home with different lighting? Was it actually a different carpet or did the store make an error? I am glad it worked out in the end and the color is working for everyone. Good ole Otto to make himself at home.
Ok...let's blow this island and go to that Patty place. We had rain during the night and it is down right chilly now. I am so over it too!!! It is actually older than I am now!
Take care of those sore muscles...
