Good morning Susan.

Good Morning
After another evening of rain I thought that the sunshine that appeared early this morning might be a hopeful sign that it would be a nice day. Instead the gray clouds have appeared once again and after a brief glimpse at the 5 day forecast doesn't look anything much different than the past 10 previous days.
The mood is hanging heavy in the household from last night's events. On top of everything something got broken upstairs last night. I think it was one of my big cereal bowls and by the amount of time the vaccum was running it must have splintered into a million and one pieces. I found salt all over the floor this morning that apparently was spilled late last night as well. Between the 11PM vaccuming and Otto's banging against the gate trying to get upstairs again and me having to get up and drag him back to his bed I didn't get to bed until late and it was certainly anything but a restful sleep. The carpet seems to have survived the incident, the hole is covered with a poster. I'm just glad that after DS outburst that DH didn't go over and say if you wanted a hole I'll give you hole and put another in there. I want to leave the hole alone for right now. let him live with his outburst, leave the poster where it is and deal with it at a later date. DH, of course, is insisting he's going up to fix the problem which of course will make another huge mess and I'm waiting for that war to be waged. I really need to find a calm, quiet place!
DD has been home sick with a stomach virus for the past 2 days. I'm hoping she kept the germs to herself, particulary for my SIL who's scheduled for surgery tomorrow. I heard her mention about having company on Saturday so maybe's she reconsidering the party location. I'm not sure my SIL will even be up for going anywhere. I just think this whole idea may not have the right timing.
It's back to work. Our new associate started yesterday. He seemed to fit right in although he looked really nervous yesterday. The workday turned quite frantic yesterday afternoon. All attorneys are in the office today so who knows what lies ahead for the workday ahead.
The evening started out so nicely last night after a shopping trip with DS to purchase blinds and a trip to Best Buy for a few things. I did manage to get a workout in after that. My body is really not designed for an 8:30 PM workout but I did get through it. I also avoided the after dinner snacking which was good.
I'm really hoping the rain doesn't appear as Otto really needs to get out for a walk. Not sure whether that had anything to do with last night's incident or whether he was marking his territory but in either case that's his last trip upstairs at least to DS room.
Margie-so glad to hear that your health news is good news. Sorry about the other stresses going on. Hope you're able to solve your ac issues.
Patty-puckering up and kissing some chickens good bye?
Li-Deb-your cake looked so beautiful and so delicious! Liam is so big already! Loved the pictures of your family as well. Good luck to Katie with her finals and regents.
Donna-sounds like a fun weekend with your nephew.
Deb/MN-how's the ankle feeling?
My CRS is kicking in and just can't remember anything else. Hope you're all well and waving hi to everyone.

Miss P
Just popping in to say Hello..
The ankle is a little sore, not bad but a little.
Deb/MN
Good morning.
Debbie
Good afternoon! What a bust today ended up being. Only 2 people showed up for the body sculpting class and I couldn't teach it because there is a minimum of 3 participants. Thank goodness I took the Zumba class before it. However, the instructor already did 3 routines from the new choreography DVD that we just got yesterday. I asked her why she had to give such an awesome class when I have to sub for her next week. I do hope people show for it! So, now I am having a down in the dumps snack of reduced fat Cape Cod chips, green tea and supplements.
Of course I am freaking out about the class next week. I have to practice practice practice before then so I can do the class with complete confidence. I have big shoes to fill.
I was going to write a quick post but with all that happened here since yesterday, I see I have chat with you.
CATHY...so sorry you are still suffering through the bought of depression and having such a hard time with ex. But it makes sense why you are depressed. Please listen to your therapist and take care of YOU! Glad to hear you are looking forward to your hike on Saturday.
SUSAN...what a night you had last night! The xys are at it again I see. Is OTTO having problems and that is why he is having "accidents". I hope things are better today and DD is feeling better too and no one caught the germs. I am definitely not a night person when it comes to exercise.
NANCY...I am in the same cycle of early bed and early waking. I wish I could keep my eyes open longer and sleep 6 to 8 hours straight through to break this cycle. I would send some sunshine your way but it is scarce around here. We have some today, but it is fleeting.
PATTY..that hardly sounds like a pay raise at all with having to make such expensive changes to get it. You know the company will never lose money...only the little guy. Enjoy your 1/2 workload and your workout. An unusual start to summer is putting it mildly!
DEB/Mn...it sounds like you are doing the right kind of exercise to help your ankle heal. Hope you get to enjoy that walk with the grandkids. I love the chatter with the grandkids when we walk. What things come out of their mouths?
SHARLENE...it is so wonderful that you can paint. Sounds like you are moving along with it. Great idea to take advantage of those rebates. We took advantage of really good one to put solar panels on our roof for electricity. It works great and it is so nice to see the electric meter go backwards. Good job with your walk today and feeling so good afterwards.
DEBBIE...did I hear something about a pool? Oh I do hope it comes to fruition. Always wanted to use that word...LOL! Great pictures from the christening. I can't believe how big Katie is...I saw her how long ago? She was just a little kid! Good luck to Katie and her SS test.
I think I got everything down I wanted to write. Time to close up the bag of chips and practice some Zumba.
Have a good one..
Grace
