Good Morning,

That hammock looks mighty inviting this morning but it would definitely have to be set up in a sunny warm (not humid) locale! The sun did appear yesterday, the humidity climbed and it was definitely on the sticky side.

We lost our phones and internet service yesterday at work. Both bosses out and no internet-we were all forced to concentrate on work! Lo and behold about 4:10 the phone came back up and a lot of people calling saying what happened to your phones? The 5PM hour finally arrived and I was out of there for the next week! Lots to do on the homefront however. I moved some furniture around before DH arrived home. Packed up pictures and book and moved them upstairs. After dinner DH and I moved my bigger chair upstairs and had to put it in DS room until the other room is done. Moved my bookcase into the hallway upstairs, took one mattress and boxspring out of the living room and put it into the bedroom down here. I also had to vaccum everything up the best I could. The one thing about moving rooms around I really do find that I don't move furniture around very often and it is a bit frightening what lies beneath and behind! A bit frightening. So some furniture out, new pieces in it's place. What a mess!

DD is going for her first dress fitting at 12. After a year you sort of forget what exactly it looked like. She also will be picking out her veil. Other DD will arriving some time this morning and she'll also be going for her fitting. Exciting but also scary to realize how quickly this is approaching!

I have to run to the grocery store to get something for dinner this evening. I have hopes of bbqing although I don't think the weather is going to cooperate. Both DD's and BF's will be here. Tomorrow morning I'll be making a Father's Day breakfast and I think older DD will probably be here but not sure about her BF. DS might even appear from the mancave!

Needless to say it's a busy weekend ahead. I have water boiling upstairs for a pasta salad and then I'm going to try to squeeze in a workout before DD arrives and then off to the grocery store and to the bridal store! By this afternoon I'll be ready to collapse!

Hope everyone has a super Saturday!

Good morning! No plans today except to rest up because I am sick with a bad cold...fever included. I can't believe it! I am trying to catch up on some things here since I wasn't home for 3 days. I think I am doing stuff with anger energy. The "rat", (how we refer to son in law) has disappeared since Thursday morning after being in Florida for 4 days last weekend with a "friend". He doesn't answer the phone or emails and DD is going out of her mind, as well as his family. Everyone is trying to track him down as he just lives a life of a bachelor. Father of the year!!

I am going to get some rest before the house fills up again.

Hope you all have a good weekend. Your day sounds very busy Susan...have fun with the fittings. Yes, things will move quickly from now until the wedding.

Bye for now...
Grace

After one very scary drive down to Portland (counted 13 vehicles included jack knifed semi's that had ran off the road) all is well.

Your DD should fill out a missing person report on the rat, maybe the police will find him.
