Good afternoon Patty and all who stop by sometime today. I have a big energy zapper today with this cold/fever. I am hoping the fever is gone now. DS has it too and is about 12 hours behind me.
I don't know where you find these pictures Patty, but one is just better than the other. I am glad you post them...they make me smile.
The rat finally showed up late last night and finally called his daughter around 8:20 last night (after repeated messages from DD) to say "Of course I will be home for Father's Day sweetie and we will go out for bagels". Ohhh...it gets me so angry when he thinks he is coming off like father of the year. DD took off as soon as she could this morning so he could have his "weekend" with the kids...she was crying buckets since they were both clinging to her. What a way to start the day..two DDs calling crying...one with a rat of a husband and the other with post partum. Calgon...take me away!
Enough of my family saga...it is supposed to be a happy day today. Yes, Patty, I have very fond memories of my father and was looking at his pictures form WWII last night with my brother who made a surprise visit. (He lives in Houston and travels a lot with Coca Cola Co and had a layover in Newark from the Dominion Republic to home. He extended his layover and I hope he doesn't get sick.)He had to have some N.Y. pizza and we indulged him.
Hope all have a nice day and celebrate it with those they love.
