Good morning all. Very fustrating not have color to type and be creative with.........I am such a creative person, lol. Yes I am off today and it won't take me long to get used to having 4 days off in a row and only working 3. I did have a struggle to get out of the office ontime, I actually did not leave until 5:25 but I finished everything on my list and I can be sure I did not leave anything for my coworkers. Today is going to be a busy day, I thought we were supposed to have sunshine but it aint looking that good at this moment. I have had my tea, made my bed and did a quick wash up and I am heading out the door in a few minutes. Taking Katie to the barn early so she can ride Ammy and then back here so we can shower for the day. I need to take a ride out east to a tack shop because Katie has her first show on Ammy this Sunday and she needs all new clothes. This place sold her old saddle and we have a credit there for $175.00. After that it is back home to clean up a little and fold another batch of laundry followed by back to back dentist appointments for Katie and I. After the dentist we have a candle party at Stacey's house and I said I would bring brownies so I need to bake some at some point. That really rounds out my day today, Katie is already driving me crazy. She is ready to go and waiting on me. Drives me nuts! She worked for 3 1/2 hours yesterday for Bill. She did not learn much but she did answer the phone for him and file some papers. It is a start! Well I guess I need to run. I am off tomorrow again and I need to bake the graduation cake for my neighbors graduation party on Saturday. I need to be creative and reagrange the frig tonight because we put my old side by side in the back and a half sheet cake won't fit in there. Hope you have a wonderful day everyone! Don't work too hard!

Thankfuls.........

Two days off during the week, my family (they forever keep my going), the animals as Patty put it, my home, the flexible job, morning tea and you wonderful ladies!

So glad to hear your mom is doing so well after the surgery, Nancy. What a relief! Good idea to pack an overnight bag so you don't have that long run to do. I seem to have a bag packed all the time too now because I never know when one DD or the other will make that HELP call.

That fog will lift soon from the trip and cutting back on the coffee. Give yourself some time to adjust.

Prayers and good thoughts for your mom and you.

Good afternoon, everyone! Late as usual with getting here but THANKFUL that I am feeling better everyday and got some housework done. I can't believe how much better I feel mentally when things are neat and tidy. On the most part, it is pretty good around here considering how many people live here but it just needed "my touch" if you know what I mean.

No gym for me today...it was much better for me to stay home and accomplish what was on my mind to do. I do think teaching Tuesday set me back a day and I am so done with being sick.

Thankful for my family and especially the new addition. Thankful for the last day of school and granddaughters who adjusted so well to the school standards here with coming from N. C. They both tested in the 98 percentile on their tests. Must have taken after their grandmother with the smarts.

So thankful for all of you and your kinds words with the "not so good" going on in the family. If you all have room in your prayers, say some for DiL in N C who is not doing well with the Guilliam Barre. New symptoms have developed and nothing helps.

OK...I did read posts, forgot what I read for the most part except for:
Susan...good grief...3 rooms at once? Glad the painting is over for now.
Deb...good for you for getting that extra day off.
Patty...sorry to hear the company is not doing right by their employees. Too bad for the service guys too.

Brain ran dry..

Hugs to all
Grace

I'm thankful that I took pictures of the neighborhood kitty, Pinky, before she died.

I'm thankful that getting my car fixed was relatively easy.

I'm thankful that I got myself to the gym twice this week, once for a 30 minute work out and once for a 45 minute work out.
