Good morning everyone! Had a busy and nice 4th yesterday. I was busy in the morning making crumb cake and cleaning up around here. Headed to our friends house around 2:30 with Katie and her GF, Rob and Stacey met us there. My GF does not cook so instead of your normal BBQ she had the entire thing catered, go figure. My sister said she is one smart lady, lol. So it was Eggplant Rolotini, Chicken Parm and Chicken Marsala. Food was good but don't mess with tradition..........I would have prefered the hambergers and hot dogs with watermelon afterwards. Someone brought fireworks so we had our own display of noise and color. Anyhow we had a nice time and did not get home until after 11:00. I was the driver since I only had one drink and that was when we first got there, the rest of the time I drank water.

This morning Bill and Rob left around 8 and headed up to CT. Rob sold his Explorer and they made arrangements to deliver the truck today. Katie and Alexa slept in and I laid in bed until 9:00. Ran and got some fresh/hot NY bagels for breakfast and got to enjoy two cups of hot tea. I am currently waiting for my Peapod groceries to arrive. Scheduled delivery between 11 and 1. Stacey's asked me last night if we wanted to go over to her parents house today and we said yes. So I spoke to Patty (Stacey's mom) and confirmed this morning. She is making steaks so I just made a batch of macaroni salad and I am going to make two batches of brownies after I log off. We have another beautiful day here and I hope it stays like this all day. Would make for a perfect weekend. No real pressure, relaxing and enjoyable. I need more days like this. I will head upstairs in a minute to make my bed for the day and after that and the brownies I think I will grab my book and sit outside on my front porch and read. Bill and Rob are on their way home and should be in around 2ish. I am sure they will want to relax a little too. I have the washer and dryer going as usual, that is a daily thing in this house. Billy is due home tonight from his Florida trip. I am hoping he comes and picks up his dog but if not what is one more night. I feel like he is ours anyway.

I have to work tomorrow and I want to be early for a change. So I need to be pretty organized tonight to manage that. Bill has decided to close the shop tomorrow and he and the boys will be heading over to the storage garage and do some serious cleaning. I have no clue as to who's car, which car, or equipment is there and I do not want to know, lol. Boys and their toys. I hope everyone has a nice day today, and you all get to relax just a little bit more before work on Monday. Nancy enjoy your ride. Susan glad the wedding was nice. Karen so sorry to read about the flooding and the damage to your son's room (didn't you just redo his room?). Deb did you head to the lake or stay home? Jdeb love your new pic.........you amaze me with your Zumba.

Lazy Sunday here - rolled out of bed around 9:00, sat with Ry for a while talking about some movie that was on and some game he is trying to get, then crawled back into bed with the paper and a cup of tea.
