Good morning everyone! I read thru some of the posts last night and I have to agree with Donna; this weather is getting old. Yesterday we had rain and barely made it to 70 degrees! DH and I

Good Morning

It is Monday right? This weekend has flown by and I'm a complete frazzled mess this morning. I've been up since 5:30 trying to catch up on things around here. I have been consumed with this room switch over and trying not just to throw things back that everything else has gone by the wayside.

DD was around for most the weekend helping with the dog sitting. Yesterday I was tired and was feeling rather lazy in the morning. I made blueberry pancakes and then DD and I headed to the grocery store. We went back to her apartment to unload her groceries and then we ran some errands and back home for some lunch before she had to head to the airport to pick up the BF. I ended up bringing my two filing cabinets upstairs and some sorting out of some paperwork and ended up with a boxful of unnecessary papers.

We have some wedding stress going on around here which is far as I'm concerned completely unnecessary and is being caused by people who simply don't want to do their job. DD has been trying to get in contact with the music person at the church for over a month. He hasn't returned one of her calls. She called out there and they told her that she should come out and maybe she could catch him between masses. I called and explained that we lived quite a distance from the church and that would be kind of hard to just sit around for 3 hours and maybe be able to speak to him. The woman, although very nice, said she wasn't sure she could speak of him directly but would leave a message for him to call DD. Nothing...meanwhile the church where she was originally supposed to be getting married has all their paperwork and the new church asked DD for it. So she called and the old church refuses to release it claiming it's too early even though DD explained the new church wants it. Then she got a call from the priest who is a family friend that is marrying them that he can't attend the rehearsal...can't imagine what problems that's going to stir. All this..no answers and a fee of several hundred dollars. DD is at the end of the rope with everyone connected with this church. I offered to make the phone call but I'm not expecting any different results. The priest that is marrying them wants names so he can make a phone call. So I'll make one and if that doesn't work I'm hoping that he can light a fire under them.

Meanwhile back to the work front and hoping there are no disasters lurking there.

I haven't had a workout in almost 2 weeks. Quite frankly I can't even think about it right now. There's just so much to do around here and the clock is ticking. I'm trying my best to eat right unfortunately when I'm stressed I either don't eat or eat all the wrong things so I need to concentrate on that.

Patty-The company sure has a strange way of treating the growers that have been with them and loyal to them. Yes to the memos about messing with your staycation!

I guess I'd better get a move on. I should stop at the cleaners with pants that have been sitting in a bag for about a month. One of these days I'm going to be a massively organized, decluttered person!

Have a magnificent Monday!

Good Morning Everyone,

It was a wonderful relaxed weekend but a house full of people all weekend long leaves me feeling the need for some quiet time after I get them all on their way.

Hello, everyone! I read through the Monday posts, but I have no idea what went on over the weekend since I didn't get through those posts yet. I hope to have time to do it later on.

My weekend was a mixed bag of relaxing and running. We had a great 4th at friends out east (last minute) and even though the house was off limits, still ended up with 2 out of 3 days with everyone here. Yesterday we had extras...the N. C. Hartmanns were here too so there were 4 more grandkids here. Thank goodness I had the day in between with friends, food and Grucci fireworks. The vineyard practically in the back yard of my friend had an awesome display.

I am back on track today...I did 33 minutes on the elliptical at home (4350 strides) because the gym changed classes around and I was not happy with the schedule for Monday. I also did not want to "waste" time in the car and socializing at the gym...always happens. So it is back to regular exercise (even if it is a shorter workout at home) and smaller portions. I don't know how to do the 5 to 6 smaller meals either Nancy so I am just going to eat a little less at the meals. I find I have to feel full!

I sure wish there was as much coverage for our fallen soldiers as there is for MJ. Makes me sad to think about it.

Have a good day and week all! I am waiting for a new oil company rep to come to sign up with them and then I am going to DD's to watch the girls while she goes to the grocery store for a big shopping. She is out of everything and just needs to do it without the girls.

Be back later...
Grace

PS...I proved once again that hot glue guns are dangerous. I practically burned off my fingerprints on 3 fingers. Man that hurt!

I too read the Monday posts but remember nothing..........Monday, Monday what more can I say! Got up early, Bill out the door to head to DMV, Rob to take Stacey to work and then the bank, Katie to package up her computer/laptop and get ready for Huntington Learning Center and myself done and out ON TIME! Have a little problem here at the office seems things were said on Thursday with coworkers and there is some attitude floating around which will carry over for the next few days I am sure. Time off, coming in late, putting it down in the book verses not putting the time in the book. I do not know what to say and would rather stay in Switzerland but I have a feeling this is coming to a head. Do not want to be here tomorrow.......last thing I need or want is more stress. Oh and something was said by coworker 1 to coworker 2 about Deb's online time so I need to start paying attention when I do log onto the internet and do something personal.......this coming from the coworker who speaks to her family in Ecquidor several times a day and does the instant messaging too. I see it but have never said anything to her....enough said. Bottom line is I need to be on time on my days and not log on and off here and facebook so frequently. Right now she is talking to someone so I have a few minutes. Work is busy but not too crazy and I seem to have a handle on it right now. I am waiting for the Fed Ex guy to pick up Katie's laptop. I need to run to the bank at lunch time to cash my check and then to the post office to drop off the two return bad phones to AT&T. I think my coworker will remain in the office in case Fed Ex shows. Bill is off and was expecting my oldest son early to help out with the clean up at the storage garage and back of the shop. Needless to say Bill is pissed because Billy is stillnot there to help out. I simply said to tell him he better plan on being there late bottom line. Always some form of agrivation at my house. Katie apparantly headed out with an attiude with her father before he dropped her off at Huntington Learning. Last night coming home he had to yell at he to "shut up" she is
