Good Morning,

We're starting off the day with sunshine and really do hope that it stays around. I have a lot to accomplish today and as with every Saturday not sure how much of it will actually get accomplished. First on the list is to get my dress for the wedding up to the alteration place. It needs a hem and just some minor work on the straps. Hopefully they're not closed for vacation! I, of course, didn't think of that and hope I'm not going to have a problem otherwise I'm going to have to find some very large heels to wear and some safety pins! I have my normal ton of housework and the usual amount of cr**p that has infiltrated the living room...oil filters, gallon of oil, battery chargers. It seems that whatever DH brings home that's where it lands

More wedding drama and it's mostly from people who just can't seem to do their job. The latest snafu is with the hotel where guests will be staying. First they told DD and BF that the bar would be open until 2 if they wanted to have a small after party but now they're saying only until 1. I really don't care about that aspect as I'll be ready for bed at that point but it was something that they contracted for. Then the hotel didn't book everyone under the wedding name. The whole purpose was to get guests who didn't want to travel a nearby hotel and the rate they pay would include transportation to and from the hotel to the reception and back again. Well apparently the hotel didn't book all the guests that way. So now no one is sure who is staying that weren't booked correctly which essentially would leave them without the transportation they paid for. The hotel is, of course, is blaming each other and basically said we don't know who's fault it is. So DD's BF will have to go out on Monday and speak to the manager and go through the guest list and see who has rooms blocked out and try to figure out who has a problem. She's also doing little hotel boxes and she can't put them altogether until the amount of guests is finally accounted. DD finally got a hold of the music person for the ceremony except that he told her to call him several days ago to set up an exact time and well...he hasn't called back. So now she has to drive out there tomorrow in the hopes that he is in fact there. She was a bit in a panic yesterday about details like programs and I spoke to other DD and with her design skills between the two of us we'll be able to take care of that for her as long as we know what she wants in it. This really can't be over soon enough....and it's a shame to have to feel this way. But she even said it...all this money and all this aggravation...oh my.

I guess I'd better get moving. I've been here on the computer a bit too long this morning and I really do have to get things accomplished around here. I really have to make a list and starting checking things off.

Nancy-hope the auction goes well today. I am indeed jealous of your day of doing exactly what YOU wanted! That must have been really enjoyable!

Hope you all have a super Saturday!

It's really never dull in my little world, lol. Had a nice time last night, my party was a huge sucess. I had over 20 people, more then I realized so we had chairs zigging and zagging around the room. The party produced over $1,000 in sales which gave me over $400 in free stuff. Back out the cost to have the party I still made out like a bandit. Plus I got to enjoy my company and show off my house. It actually is the first time many of them have been here since we started the kitchen remodel and first time some were here at all. Billy's girl friend Christine came with her mom and two sisters and they were totally blown away of my home. They told me it was such a warm and inviting home and that they loved it. I felt so happy that I made a good impression since it was the first time I have met her family. Her mom even called Billy after she left and raved over me and our home! (insert smile) The last of everyone left around midnight and I did a clean up. Stacey and Katie both helped me out then I finished up myself so I did not have to come down this morning to a huge mess.

We have another picture perfect day here. I got up early and just washed up and took Katie to the barn. Bill headed out to do his Saturday errands, banking, bill paying and part returns. The paving company is next door at the doctors office so all the patients are parking in front of my house. Our landscaper is at the shop cleaning the weeds in the flower beds. Billy dropped Cole off around 10:00 and headed up to the shop to work on his mustang motor. Rob is doing his round of errands and I am enjoying another cup of tea. While typing I heard a bang up at the corner and ran up there. An accident, nothing major bad but our town had the call not just the police but the fire department, rescue.........lol. Now our corner is really a mess and busy. Oh the station wagon that the old guy was driving just went by on the flat bed, she (young girl) hit him really bad. the drivers and passenger doors were both hit. She actually went spinning around and ended up on the doctors lawn and almost hit a tree. Her passager head light and fender were banged up but I had not seen his car. We have a graduation BBQ to attend at 2:00 this afternoon and I still need to get a card. I guess I will check to see what Katie's status in and I will either grab my shower now or take one. As I started to type Cole's name up there I realized I had let him out with me when I went to turn on the sprinkler and
