Monday Monday, can't trust that day, Monday Monday, sometimes it just turns out that way Oh Monday morning, you gave me no warning of what was to be...
The workday is done and over-thank goodness. Almost an hour on the phone with the postage meter people this morning 30 of which was spent on hold thanking me for my patience! All that to hear that there was a system error which their engineers were working on. Somehow they couldn't manage to tell me that before having me go through push this, reset this and now wait...and wait...and wait. Fortunately whatever problem they were having was fixed so I could fix our problem. The mail marches on! Nasty client/people day as well and a boss with a mood that is much like a changing forecast-sunny one minute and those gray nasty clouds that move in so fast.
I'm working on a gift for DD for her shower. I printed off some of her favorite recipes that I've made and am putting together a recipe book for her. She's always calling me to email her recipes so I hope she enjoys the printed version!
Otto seems to be more like himself although he didn't seem sick he wasn't quite himself either. He was smart enough to spit out his pill this morning and I had to get the peanut butter jar out to get him to eat it. It's amazing how it's mixed in with his food but yet he could single out that 1/2 a pill.
Experiment from the kitchen this evening with Armenian Kebabs. Basically a lean ground beef mixed with some garlic, onion, cumin, paprika and mint, form it into a sausage shape around a skewer and throw it on the grill. I also made Tabbouleh which is couscous mixed with lemon juice, mint, olive oil tossed with some chopped cucumber and tomato. I wasn't sure DH would like it as he's not a couscous fan but it was really quite tasty.
Otto and I ventured out for a nice evening stroll. The weather has been so nice. No humidity and lots of sunshine. Very nice from the dreary rainy weather we've been experiencing for so long.
Better get back at my book project. Hope you've all had a good day!
I'm so sorry that you've had such a miserable Monday. I do hope that Tuesday brings better things. Hoping that you can get a good night's rest and sending big hugs your way.
Busy day here and glad it is almost bed time. Worked until 5 then ran to the grocery store for some swiss cheese. Came home and changed into my shorts and watched some tv. Started dinner around 6:30, chicken cutlet parm with Stacey making the baked spagetti, yum. Cleaned up, washed dishes, put yet another batch of wash on and here I am. Bill is watching some drag racing that recorded over the weekend and the kids were just sitting on the front porch eatting ice cream and laughing. I think I will head upstairs in a minute and wash up and then get under the covers. I might read a little but not much, my eyes are tired. Not very exciting here tonight although it was Bill, myself, Katie, Rob, Stacey and Rob's friend Keith for dinner and we were roaring in laughter at the table. Lots of entertainment! Hope you all have a good night tonight. Karen please don't stay away too long.

Evening Everyone,
Today didn't turn out exactly as I planned but in the end it was a productive day and I am thankful for that.
