It would be interesting to know what went thru each of your minds when you read today's title-never quite know what to expect when I see some of your titles-there are days when I'm a bit afraid :)!
Can't say that I'm expecting much fun today. My co worker took a day off which was met with the usual remark from the boss. Seems like she tries to take a day she is met with some resistance. But the same doesn't hold true for other people. It's just the same old same old in that place. But with her gone it will be very lonely since we pop over each other's cube to say hello every once in a while during the course of the day.
I did manage to pay a few bills last night. My checkbook is still in a state of disarray and I'm hoping that tonight I'll be able to clean up some filing that's in a big mess at the moment. We did find spots for DD's stuff that's not going to be leaving here. She just doesn't have room for some of the things until they have a bigger living space. I have no idea when that's going to be. It took the BF almost 7 years to propose so who knows how long before he decides they need to move! But until I can clean out the closet up here they're stashed in the spare bedroom. She does need to get over here and get the other stuff that she is planning on moving. I know she's going to need help with that since everything has to be carried up three flights of stairs. I think she was planning on her brother's truck and his muscles on his day off except he's going to the bachelor party this weekend so he won't be getting his usual Thursday off.
Somewhere along the line I've misplaced an entire Costco size box of Swiffers. My floors are loaded with dog hair and I figured I would give them a good once over before work instead of dragging the vaccum out. DD bought them for me on Saturday when she went to pick up the cake for the shower. They have disappeared-probably along with my sanity!
Maybe I should take off from the state of NY and head to VA with Otto and join Patty and Bob for some ice cream! Otto seemed to really enjoy the turkey sausage and peppers I made last night after covering myself with it and then the floor!
I guess that's about it from my neck of the woods. Better get going and finish getting ready for the work day ahead! Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Princess, When I read the title for this morning, I thought of the commercial for a program about a husband getting a sex change... also thought about how it would feel to be a man.. and then quickly came to my senses... :)
My first thought when I read Patty's discussion title was a show that aired last night on TV about a man who had a sex change operation and his wife continues to live in the same house with him but not as his wife in the physical sense.

Good Morning Everyone,
My first thought when I read Patty's discussion title was a show that aired last night on TV about a man who had a sex change operation and his wife continues to live in the same house with him but not as his wife in the physical sense.

Hi Margie,
Many years ago I had a pap come back with abnormal cells.
It would be interesting to know what went thru each of your minds when you read today's title.
