That picture is absolutely beautiful and I would so love to be there. That would also mean that I would be there and the H would be here and then I wouldn't be so tempted to strangle him and then dig the hole and push him in! I guess he should post a thankful that he hasn't seen me with a shovel in hand digging in the backyard amongst his tomato plants!
Loved your thankfuls this morning Miss P!
I have yet to find my Swiffers-asked DS 2x yesterday where upon he reminded me I had already asked him and the answer was still no. The H is aggravating me. He has yet to mail in his prescriptions-although he doesn't take the medication like he supposed to do anyway-then asked me if they would be coming soon and then I told him he never sent them in whereupon he told me that he thought I was taking care of it since he doesn't have the time! Now I ask should I just be a b***ch and continue to ignore it, or should I lead him by the hand and hand him the paperwork that involves all of checking off his name and checking the box that says use the credit card on file and inserting same into an envelope or do I just do it myself and be done with it? Or in the alternative he could just take the d**m thing to CVS and have it filled....but I know he won't do that either. The whole thing annoys me...he doesn't take it as prescribed no matter how many times I tell him this is a medication that MUST be taken each day to be effective and not when you feel like it. I'm not even sure that he's on the correct medication but heaven forbid he discuss that with his doctor who in my mind shouldn't even be writing the prescription for this since he's a GI doctor. We won't even get into the fact that he's not been taking the medication for his acid reflux but yet complains about his heartburn. We were on the same medication and told him just to use mine...nope. Ok, I'm done now. Thanks for listening.
I took a fit last night and ran to Sears for some bedding for the room upstairs. I had bought an inexpensive comforter for up here but haven't been thrilled with the color combination. I went on line and found a Ty Pennington bed set that I thought would look really nice. It was on sale and they actually had it in stock at the store.
The wall color in back of the bed is similar to the color I painted the walls. A color a bit out of my usual color palette but now that the room is coming together I like it a lot more.
I came home and asked DS if he would go over to Lowes with me and see if I could find a new rug for up here too. The big rugs were more money than I wanted to spend so I put 2 5 x7 rugs together and have new floor covering for $40 since they were on sale for $19. I'm really trying to repurpose things that I have but it really wasn't working. Now I just have to figure out pictures for the wall and I think the room is finally more to my liking.
It was an interesting day at work. My boss had a hearing in the afternoon so I spent the morning trying to get copies made of the material he needed and answering the ever ringing phones. My other coworker is not very helpful when it comes to phone answering. Obviously if the phone rings more than 2x I'm in the middle of something. I sent him off to court after lunch and an hour later I get a frantic phone call that he can't find the stuff in his brief case. We're all on a hunt for this stuff. Some of it we found and had to have someone run it over to him. But the other stuff he had and apparently text messaged one of the attorneys but she hadn't checked her phone so she didn't know. Apology accepted for him going a bit nuts on the phone!
Thankful for the beautiful shower for DD. It was a lovely day and thankful that she was truly surprised. Thankful for my other DD to help me through my weekend meltdown. Thankful for therapy and thankful that I have a much needed session this evening. Thankful for my neighbor being home last night and with a key to get me in after I locked myself out. Thankful for all of you!
Kathy-I was so glad to see a post from you. I'm sorry that things are so stressful for you on the work front. Hipe you will be able to stop by more often. You are missed around here!
Margie-hope the procedure goes well for you. My DD also had to have a colposcopy (sp) a number of years ago and she's been fine since then.
Shar-good to hear from you as well. I can't believe your DS is going into 6th grade!
My computer time is up and need to finish getting ready for work. Hope you all have a terrific Thursday!
Good morning! One of these days I'm going to

When I win the lottery, we'll all go to the place in Patty's picture for a week of girl time.

Yes I would LOVE that house!
Great picture Patty, thank you for posting.
Today I skipped everything, kickboxing, toning, errands that I'd have to get in the car to do.
I declared today anti-procrastination day.
Good evening.
